The next day, Sky wasted no time. With a mixture of excitement and relief, he packed up his things and moved into Prapai’s old condo. It was a quiet, secure place, much closer to the campus—and more importantly, far away from the dangers that had unnerved him the previous night.

Sky sighed in relief as he looked around his new space, feeling much safer now, in addition to the fact that he can smell Prapai here.

Sky spent the rest of the day cleaning the condo, making sure everything was neat and in place. As per Prapai’s request, he settled into Prapai’s room. The moment he stepped inside, a familiar scent hit him—a warm, comforting mixture that reminded him of Prapai. Sky couldn’t help but smile as he inhaled deeply, letting the scent calm his nerves after the chaotic events of the past few days. Sky blushed at the memories they shared here.

Tired from all the packing and cleaning, he lay down on Prapai’s bed, surrounded by the warmth of his boyfriend’s presence, even though he was miles away. “I never thought that moving would be this tiring…” It wasn’t long before Sky drifted into a deep sleep, feeling safer and more at ease than he had in days.

A few hours later, Sky’s phone buzzed on the nightstand, waking him up. He groggily reached for it, blinking away the sleep as Prapai’s name flashed on the screen.

"Hey, P'Pai," Sky answered, his voice still thick with sleep. “Oh, it's evening already…” he said when he saw the sky from Pai’s window.

"Did I wake you up?" Prapai’s voice was soft but concerned. "I wanted to check if you’re okay. How’s everything?”

Sky smiled, the sound of Prapai’s voice instantly making him feel more awake. "I’m fine. I just finished cleaning up earlier and passed out for a bit. The place looks good now.”

"That’s great to hear," Prapai replied, relief evident in his tone. "You’re going back to campus tomorrow? I saw your calendar."

They shared an online calendar, so they know each other’s schedules. "Yeah, I have a few things to finish before the semester break," Sky said, sitting up in bed. "It’s been a stressful day, though. Packing everything and tidying up... I didn't realize how much stuff I had! Especially my books, not the academic books though.”

Prapai chuckled at the mention of books. "I bet your mangas are handful, considering the fact that you always want them on set. But at least you're all set now. I wish I could be there to help."

Sky could hear the smile in Prapai’s voice, and it made him feel lighter despite the long day. "You are helping," Sky said softly. "Just talking to you makes it better.”

They talked for a while, their conversation flowing easily as always. Sky felt a sense of comfort hearing Prapai’s voice, even though they were miles apart. But mid-conversation, Prapai’s phone buzzed.

“Pai, can we leave now?”

"Hold on, Sky," Prapai said, glancing at the screen. "It’s one of my blockmates here. We’re having a small gathering tonight."

Sky paused for a moment, his thoughts briefly wandering because of that soft voice. He was so used to having Prapai around, he knew that Prapai holds charm in him, and now Prapai was meeting new people in a new place. But Sky quickly brushed away the overthinking—he trusted Prapai deeply, and he knew he was important for him.

"That sounds fun," Sky said, forcing a smile through his words. "Go ahead, have a good time. You deserve it after all the adjusting."

Prapai heard the change of emotion in Sky’s eyes, his voice softened. "You sure you’re okay?"

Sky nodded even though Prapai couldn’t see it. "Yeah, P’Pai. I … Have fun, okay?"

Prapai’s smile came through the line. "Thanks, Sky. I’ll text you later, okay? And get some rest—you’ve had a long day.”
