The night grew thick with every passing moment, Moondance lay in her cave looking up at the night's brightest moon the wolf kind had seen in ages, she pondered in her mind about the days coming challenges. Her attention was soon disrupted by a loud crack she was sure anykind could hear from miles away.
"What the hell was that...?"
Her mind bounced back and forth between possibilities, 'could it be a dragon? a falling tree? or worse... a hippogriff!'. She smoothed her prickled up fur and un shook her long, sleek, winter white wings and stood nervously, she moved silently towards the sound poking her head out of the cave.
"Hello? who's here!" she inquired quietly.
Soon she saw a larger head looking back at her silently, this animal was interesting, it seemed as though to have two sets of ears and a long-upturned snout. It had a sleek orangish coat and bright yellowish-green eyes with dark brown pupils, its tail thin an turned at the tip gently. It seemed to radiate some kind of warm glow from its coat. Yet the weirdest part is that despite looking like a wolf, it had no wings... It suddenly spoke
"Hello there. Have i awoken you? I'm terribly sorry if i have, as the years blow, I seem to forget my size..." The wolflike creature grimaced slightly at the last parts as if annoyed for its size.
Moondance studied the 'wolf' closely before asking
"No no.. you didn't wake me but... what exactly are you. And Who are You?" She said in a simple tone trying her best not to sound like she was prying too much.
The creature chuckled softly clearly amused.
"I am siren. Siren of the Dream Lancers, which are basically... dream guardian's if you would say." He smiled softly.
Moondance's tail swayed with uncertainty, she tilted her head softly.
"But... Why haven't i heard of 'Dream Lancers' before! I was certain i knew every creature in soldum!" She strained with an annoyed tone.
Siren hummed lowly; he sat onto the cool nights grass his tail moving to cup his paws gently.
"I believe that is because you're the first creature i have seen that could see me actually, I haven't had a creature see me since... what 1920? your very special my friend." Siren gave a small but genuine small slightly flashing his white teeth.
"hm... You're sure you haven't already discovered your powers yet?" Siren said softly.
Moondance blinked surprised. "Powers?".
