aviyana lives with her protective older brother who's ina gang, whose parents passed, then on the first day of school, she meets these guys who become her life long people.

"wake upp." vondez yells as he walks up the small stairs to ques and yanas room.
que walks out of his room rubbing his eyes "you actually up before yana? ts not real."
que always woke up 10 minutes before school started, but school starts in an hour by now.
vondez banged on aviyanas door opening it, stomping over to her and shaking her arm, "wake up my heart, schools in an hour."
aviyana hated meeting people, at her old school she was fairly popular.
financial stuff happened, so they had to move to the shitty side of the city, east harlem. her brother wouldn't tell her what's going on.
aviyana groaned and rolled around but vondez annoyed her until she got out of bed.
zavon had already made breakfast for them, some eggs and toast with orange juice.
park east always starts on fridays, just so their students get a slow start. zavon knows there's parties mostly every night in east harlem, he was gonna make sure that que and aviyana didn't get out.
having no parents wasn't easy on them, and a very protective brother who went to school with them wasn't easy either.
"you know anyone at the school?" que was trying to break the silence, a week before this zavon had disappeared for a few days without notice, que and yana assumed he was doing shit with the gang he was in.
zavon just nodded, which caught aviyanas attention, she was terrified of not knowing anyone there.
"who?" aviyana was curious, she's really hoping that she's gonna know them too.
"just some guys i know. you don't know them." zavon sounded tired, he seemed off.
aviyana knew something was wrong, but she was still mad after he had disappeared awhile.
yana finished her plate and quickly went to her room to get ready.
"what tf up with her?" que speaking to zavon, who's now zoned out.
"zavon??" he said, locking his eyes on him, trying to see where he was staring
"zavon!" que nudged vondez with his fist
zavon shaking his head out of his zoning out "shit, yeah?"
"nothing nevermind." que left his plate and walked to his room, leaving zavon to eat by himself
