Eliza Black is in her room studying to get ready for the upcoming tests and assessments at hogwarts . The young girl had recently got her letter asking for her to attend Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry! She had been pulsing with excitement since she had received the letter . Some would say she was over excited but she would disagree, the stories her father had told her made her expectations rather high.

As the girl studied she heard a faint knock on her door " Come in! " she yelled. Her father Sirius Black walked in and started to speak right away "Are you ready to head to hogsmeade? We have to go get all your stuff Liz" Liz was a nickname her father had gave to her when she was little, it had always been one of her favourites. She smiled widely almost shaking from happiness " I'm so ready!! I've been none stop thinking about it all day. " Her father smiled at her admiring how much she reminded him of himself when he was starting hogwarts, he sighed of relief "Alright get your suitcase and come on!".

The young girl and her father arrived at hogsmeade, she looked around in awe " Its beautiful dad!" she spoke softly, "It is something isn't it?" he replied with a smile on his face. He shooed her to go and get her wand from Olivanders before he left and she did just so. She walked into the shop looking around at all the cases on the shelves til she got given a fright from a man speaking ahead of her, "Hello there! You've come to get your first wand i see?" Eliza nodded at the white haired man. "Well you have most certainly step foot into the right place" She smiled at his choice of words as he handed her a case, She opened it up to see a lovely looking wand, "Go on try it out" he spoke. "Accio" She said with a raised voice as everything came clashing down, her eyes widened. "I'm ever so sorry" she spoke as the guy looked at her with a pitiful smile "Don't worry happens all the time this just means it's not the wand for you" she furrowed her eyebrows at his relaxed demeanor. He handed her another case, this wand was far prettier, she tested the same spell once again "Accio!" the case she left on the counter quickly came over to her and landed straight in her hand, she smiled happily. "Lovely wand that one, dragon heart string core 10/3 inches" the man behind the counter said, "Scurry on now you have lots more to get!"

Eliza walked out of the store and as soon as she turned right she bumped into a red haired boy who was currently stuffing his face with a food she couldn't quite tell what it was " I am so sorry!" she said looking at the boy "Its alright" he chuckled, "I'm Ron, Ron Weasley!" he extended his arm out to shake the girls hand, "My names Eliza, Eliza Black" she smiled warmly at the boy ahead of her. "I'm going to The Magical Menagerie, just to look around really i already have an owl, wanna come!?" the boy said happily as i nod in agreement, as we walk we get to know eachother, "So what year are you in Ron? I'm in first year" i smile and quickly get a reply "Me too." the boy replies. We quickly reach the shop and head in, "Bloody hell its lovely in here" Ron says, "Honestly" i speak looking at the cats and owls. "What cat should i get? I already have an owl at home so i'd imagine there's no need for an extra." Ron turns to face Eliza as she speaks, "Uh... That one and you should call it Ron, looks just like me!" he says laughing as he points towards a ginger kitten and poses next to it, i laugh with him and agree to it.

This is the kitten ! ++

I pay for the kitten and walk out of the shop with him in a carrier. "Now what do we have to get?" I ask Ron as we walk out of the shop, "The owl post" he says and i give him a questioning look as if im asking what the hell are you talking about, he laughs. " Its a shop that sells like quills and stuff ." I nod and chuckle at my stupidity as we arrive at the store, i walk in first as Ron shuts the door in my face before i do so, ' what a gentleman. ' i thought in my head as i rolled my eyes, we walk around the store, Ron touching every little thing he sees and making an utter mess. I look at all the quills and the ink and end up deciding on this set. ++

"That looks cool" Ron says in awe, "Thanks ronald" i grin, "Let's go to Zonkos Joke Shop, Fred and George are always there!" Ron says, "Who's Fred and George?" I ask, "They are my brothers, in third year them two." I nod as we finally get to the shop. We walk in and Ron walks over to two red haired boys and i follow, when they turn around my jaw drops ' twins!? ' i thought that was incredible when i was younger. "Hi guys" Ron said to them sheepishly and i waved with a smile, "Who's your girlfriend Ronald?" the boy on the left said as i furrowed my eyebrows "She's not my girlfriend and her names Eliza." Ron replied and i nod, the boy that just spoke put his arm out, "I'm fred and this is george" he said nodding his head towards the boy next to him, i extend my hand to shake his and then continued to do the same with George. ' There's something about this family and handshakes ' i thought but didn't even think about saying it as it was a respectful action. They showed us around the store and recommended some things i should buy, obviously i quickly agreed, it was always my thing to play pranks on people, i found it utterly hilarious the way they reacted! I payed for everything i got which was :

• Stink pellets .
• Acid pops .
• Belch powder .
• Whizzing worms .

I was satisfied with what i got and was eager to use them, me and Ron went with Fred and George to their mum who was so friendly i wanted her to be my mum! We got to her and a little girl that was stood next to her who i immediately waved to, "Boys your late what if you miss the train!?" the red headed woman then looked to me and smiled sweetly, "And who are you sweetie?" she asked as i smiled back at her, "I'm Eliza!" i replied, she quickly hugged me and started to put mine and Ron's stuff onto trolleys, "Come on let's go!!" she spoke hurrily as me and Ron exchanged a glance and laughed, we then realised we took so long laughing we were far behind and ran up to Molly to catch up.

hii so this is my first book, sorry if there are any mistakes! i will try and post chapters often and i think i will be able to so dont worry if your someone that hates waiting for people to update because im also like that and i wouldn't want to make anyone wait for ages.
