'Is he sleeping?'

He turned around and walked into the spacious bedroom, only to find that Taehyung was still nowhere in sight.

With a frown on his face, Jungkook fished out his cell phone to call Taehyung.

The phone rang for a long time before it was answered, and after a few seconds, Taehyung questioned with a slightly nasally voice, "Who is that? You're disturbing my sleep in the middle of the night."

"Darling, are you not at home?"

Taehyung first rubbed his sleepy eyes and once he heard Jungkook's voice, he was a lot less sleepy. "Mr. Jeon, are you home?"

"Yes."

"Oh, I'm out of town for filming, so you'll have to be alone for the next few days."

Jungkook could hear the gloating tone in his voice.

"Darling, when you come back, let's take care of all the things that have been long due."

'Is there anything that's due?'

Taehyung thought about it for a long time but he still had no clue.

'Forget it, sleep is important.'

Jae-Wook had not spoken to Taehyung for almost half a month.

'It's Second brother-in-law who lied to me first. Why am I the sinner now!?'

When Lisa came home, she discovered that Jae-Wook was sitting alone at the bar and sipping on some wine, looking as if he was out of love.

"Third Brother, I just went shopping with Nana in the mall across the pedestrian street and I ran into Sister Youn-Jung."

Jae-Wook looked at him scornfully and said, "What has that got to do with me?"

"Ahhh, she has such a cute little kid but unfortunately, he's not my nephew. Well, that makes sense. How can you have such a well-behaved, cute and innocent son?"

While speaking, she shook her head. Seeing that Jae-Wook was about to lose his temper, Jae-Wook fled and scurried upstairs.

'This dog always likes to bully me. Now it's payback time!'

Jae-Wook though, 'Why should I sulk here while that woman can take her son to go shopping?'

The more he thought about it, the more unconvinced he was. He put the wine glass on the table because he decided to go shopping too.

The newspaper house had been very busy lately and Youn-Jung hadn't had the opportunity to take Namie out to buy some new clothes. Her team at work happened to have applied for leave today so she decided to take half a day off too.

Youn-Jung was holding onto Namie's hand and strolling around the second floor of the mall with a popsicle in hand.

Suddenly, Namie's eyes lit up and he exclaimed, "Mom look look look!"

"Look at what?"

Namie pointed ahead and said, "That's the strange man who appeared at school last time. I saw him again!"

She looked over in the direction that Namie pointed to, only to see that it was indeed Jae-Wook!

Youn-Jung's expression changed slightly, and she pulled Namie along as she turned around to walk away. "That's not a strange man but a big bad guy. Namie, if you see him again in the future, remember to walk away. Otherwise, if he catches you, you won't get to see me again."

Namie was still a child after all so he was really shocked by Youn-Jung's words. He scurried towards her and hugged her thigh while nodding profusely. "I don't want to be no longer able to see you. Ultraman is going to beat up the bad guy!"
