ASMI : she is 27 year old  and the lead of the story she is  kind and good looking her beauty lies in her heart she is married  with love of her life Rajiv she is an archeologist by profession and loves reading she doesn't  have much good relations with her family but there is something that is making her anxious for years she keeps writing her feelings on a paper its something different something that  is  past but is trying to be a part of her present 

RAJIV: a handsome and charming man in his early 30, s  he is an engineer  by profession he loves his wife ASMI and can't think of any other woman except her he is kind hearted yet quit adamant in some places but there is a part of him that no one knows  not even his beloved wife  something that he tries to hide even from his soul he doesn't want to  face it but it just keeps coming back to him 

Anshul: he is the best friend of Rajiv he is a small business owner he is goofy and fun he doesn't think much of his future but believes in living in the present he is very fond of ghosts he respect Asmi but there are times in which he is a little suspicious  of her but he loves his friend very much hence agrees with him  all the time although they are quite different then each other but the more he is trying to understand his best friend and  his wife's relation he is getting more worried about him BUT WHY

SUJATO CHAUDHARY: a man in his late 50s he is uncle of Rajiv and loves him very much after his elder brother's death he took care of Rajiv he doesn't have any child of his own he is caretaker of the ancestorial palace although he isn't very much fond of Asmi but respects Rajiv's decision, but that monsoon night continues to haunt him he has secrets of his own 

SNEHALATA CHAUDHARY: wife of Sujato Chaudhary she respects her husband but is against of his decision of giving the palace to Rajiv she loves Rajiv and Asmi but still can't forget what happened to her sister-in-law and brother-in-law 

RAGHUNATH CHAUDHARY: Rajiv's second uncle he loves Rajiv and have his own daughter mona he respects his brother and sister-in-law he is fun and goofy and really kindhearted he is quite afraid of his wife but loves her very much but wants to know the reason of his brother decision regarding the haveli

NAINA CHAUDHARY: Raghunath's wife due to her husband's carelessness she always corrects him she IS quite witty 

MONA: Rajiv's cousin she is adventurous and fun she wants to know more about the haveli

RADHA: she is daughter of Sujato's friend's she respects and loves sujato very much and wanted to marry Rajiv she is rajiv s childhood sweetheart she is naive but can't accept asmi s arrival

RAJIV AND ASMI LOVE EACH OTHER VERY MUCH BUT HAVE THERE OWN SECRETS WHY THEY ARE NOT TRANSPARENT WITH EACH OTHER AND IS THERE RELATIONSHIP AS BEAUTIFUL AS IT LOOKS WHY IS ANSHUL SUSPICIOUS OF ASMI DID HE FOUND OUT ABOUT HER SECRET WHY IS SUJATO CHAUDHARY AFRAID OF THAT MONSOON NIGHT AND WHAT HAPPENED TO RAJIVS PARENTS  ALTHOUGH  SNEHALATA LOVES RAJIV VERY MUCH BUT WHY CANT SHE GIVE THE HAVELI TO RAJIV ARE RAGHUNAT AND NAINA CHAUDHARY ARE AS SIMPLE AS THEY SEEM OR IS THERE SOMETHING SUSPICIOUS ABOUT THEM CAN MONAS RAPID ACTION BECOME DANGOROUS FOR HER FAMILY AND WHY IS SHE SO CURIOUS ABOUT THE HAVELI CAN RADHA ACCEPT ASMI OR STILL COUNTINUE TO HAVE FEELINGS FOR RAJIV WILL RAJIV RESPOND TO HER FEELINGS?
