Best Dressed & Less Stressed

I woke up a little less stressed than I had been. Tony and I were fine. But I still had Lauryn to worry about. Surprisingly, Ryan hadn't really been a problem. Yet.

Apparently, Kennedy and I had made going down to the cafe on the mornings of no classes a "thing". When were dressed, we walked down to the cafe. As usual, I stood in line for coffee, but Kennedy stood with me today. I hadn't yet updated her on what happened between Tony and I last night; I had gone straight to bed. I knew that she was just waiting on me to tell her.

When I had my coffee (finally) we looked for a table and found Annabelle and Lauryn again. I was beginning to think that this was no longer even a coincidence, just a hangout spot. We greeted each other and sat down. Upon taking her seat, Kennedy looked as if she was going to explode, and she sort of did.

"Oh my God, just tell me already! I'm dying here! What the hell happened?!" she screamed at me. You could hear her all over the seat in area, so you can imagine how loud she was sitting next to me.

"Jesus, calm down!" I said back.

Annabelle spoke up, "What are you talking about?"

"Her and Tony broke up. You did break up with him, right? You didn't punk out did you?" she interrogated.

"Wait, you're not with Tony anymore?" Lauryn asked highly interested in the topic of conversation all of a sudden. Gee, wonder why.

I sighed. "Antonio and I broke up last night. We felt that the long distance was too much to stress over. It ended in a friendly way, there was no hostility. We're both fine."

"Good! Now we can all be single and lonely together. Except Lauryn. Lauryn you suck." said Annabelle.

Lauryn softly smiled at me. "I suppose so."

"Well hello ladies." I heard a familiar voice say behind me. I turned to see Ryan standing there with Jacob next to him. Jacob nodded his had at us and walked over to Lauryn, kissing her cheek.

"So what's up? What are we talking about?" Jacob asked.

Oh God, please don't let anyone say that-

"Well, Adi, here, broke up with Toni last night. So now she's single." Kennedy said way to happily to Ryan.

"Oh, is that right? Looks like Adina took some great advice from someone." Ryan replied.

I rolled my eyes. "You guys are weird" I said to them. "Anyway, we should do something soon. Like all of us."

"That would be cool. We could do a movie night like you and Lauryn did!" Annabelle stated excitedly.

What have I done?, I thought to myself.

"I'd like that." Lauryn added, smiling at me. Of course you would.

"Eh, its not really our scene. But if Adina's going then I'm in." Ryan said. I laughed.

"Yeah that'll be cool I suppose. When?" I asked the group.

"How about tonight? Its Saturday, no ones busy." Jacob responded.

"Yeah that's cool. We can do it at Ryan and Jacob's place." Kennedy added.

"Yes, let's volunteer our place!" Ryan said sarcastically.

"You'll be fine. You two have your own damn apartment. Its perfect." I said.

Hopefully a night with my friends would be more helpful than stressful.

Kennedy didn't have to help me find an outfit this time, thank goodness. [Outfit in media. Made by shygurl1 on polyvore.]

Despite what happened between Lauryn and I last time, I wasn't really nervous because I knew that she wouldn't try anything with everyone there. Especially Jacob. Tonight has to go normally, right?

Kennedy and I walked up to Ryan's door. I knocked as she checked her hair in the reflection of the window. Ryan answered the door with a big grin.

"Well hello there." he smirked and leaned over to me.

"You know, your little crush on her is starting to make me feel quite neglected." Kennedy stated as she walked inside.

I laughed as Ryan blushed. "So a crush, huh?" I asked and walked inside toward the kitchen, where no one else was. Ryan followed me there.

"I actually planned on addressing that tonight. Thanks to Kennedy, I guess I don't have to do that anymore." he said, smiling. "So do I have a chance? Or am I wasting my time?"

"Hmm..Yes." I replied.

"Yes? For which one?" He asked.

"I haven't decided yet." I winked and attempted to walk out of the kitchen but I was stopped when Ryan surprised me. He grabbed me by my waist, turned me around, and planted a kiss on my lips. His tougue gently slipped into my mouth. The kiss wasn't a hungry one; it wasn't full of lust as I had expected. It was sweet and lasted long enough for me to sing like half a song. It was pretty much the cutest make out session. The make out sessions that I've had with Tony were lustful. This felt meaningful.

But I really shouldn't even put so much thought into it.

I pulled back, stopping the kiss and causing Ryan to flash me a confused expression.

"We have a movie to watch, right?" I said, trying to make my voice stronger but it only came out as weak as I felt, due to Ryan's kiss. I can't lie, it was amazing.

"Right.. But first, when can I take you out again?" He asked me.

"Ryan, you have my number and you haven't used it yet. Just call me later or something. Can we watch a movie now?"

He smiled. "Sure." He grabbed my hand and we walked into the entertainment room, hand in hand.

"Welllll, what do we have here?" Kennedy asked, completely oblivious to my face that told her to not go there.

The rest of the night was just us watching a bunch of movies.

At about 2 a.m. we decided to call it a night. We said our goodbyes and left for our dorms.
