My Best Friend's Dad

Chapter 5

I know it has been a long time and this is a bit short but I hope you enjoy it anyways. :)

Okay so I was reading over my story and a huge chapter is missing. So I'm going to sum it up. Basically Liz is ignoring her so she talks to Ash. In which he says he's disgusted with her for doing such a thing (puttin the French fry in the donut hole. The hanky panky. The frickle frackle. If you get what I'm saying) and guys think she is so much hotter and what not but Liz is upset. And then Baby finally gets to talk to her and ------ yeah I think you can read now.
                      

"Liz I would never do that." I said trying to keep up with her fast pace.

"Please don't call me that." She said not looking at me.

I grabbed her arm," Liz, this is dumb. We are best friends till the end. Why would you think I would do that to you?"

She looked me in the eye, her eyes filling with tears. "I'm sorry Baby," she wailed,"I believed my mom and I'm sorry. You're the only thing I've ever had. You are my sister and I know you would never do that." She sniffled pulling away from the hug.

"Thank you." I said.

"Its just so many people betray me in this school. It's hard to tell who's lying and who to believe. "

"Well you can believe me. Okay?"

"Of course. I am so sorry. "

"Hey, let's go get food. It always helps. Then, we can talk to your mum." I said wiping her tears.

"Yes, we're off to get some good food, the wonderful good food of God!" She chanted through the school.

"Why would you say that about Baby?!"
She yelled at her mom. I just stood in the corner awkwardly.

Her dad walked into the kitchen. "What's going on, I'm trying to type, I can't do that with you all yelling."

His eyes traveled across the room to mine. "Hi, Baby."

I waved and gave a small smile.

"Mum told me that Baby had sex with you, and I actually believed her over my real mom who has always been here for me more than you!" She yelled at her mother.

"Oh, you think Baby is a better mother than me?" She nodded getting in her mother's face.

"Hillary Elizabeth that's enough." Louis said with authority.

"No, if she feels that way, then I'm leaving." She stomped.

Louis grabbed her arm,"You aren't leaving. You love me." Louis said to his wife.

"I only wanted your money, plus you were hot in the band." What a bit-

"Mum?" Liz asked.

"You were always a spoiled brat."

I ran to Liz and hugged her. She sobbed into my arms. "I need to use the bathroom." I nodded and let her go.

Louis ran up to me and slapped me across the face.

Tears we're already in my eyes but now they were pouring out.

"Baby, I'm so sorry." He hugged me.

"I didn't mean to touch you, that was meant for my wife."

"It's okay I know you're angry." I whispered.

He pulled away. "Um... We'll I'm going to make dinner. Would you like to stay over?" He asked. He was trying to put up a hard front but in knew he was on the verge of a breakdown. He thought she loved him.

"I think you need some time. I'm going to go home." I said. I heard bare feet taping against the stairs.

"No, you're staying here with me. We'll just get pizza." Liz said.

"Okay I'm going to resume my story. I'll be in my writing room, knock if you need me." He said turning around and walking upstairs.

We both went up stairs. "Can you order the pizza? Pepperoni and cheese, please."

"Sure, I order while I take a crap."

She laughed,"Okay?"

I went into the bathroom with my phone. I saw a drip of red on the floor.

I grabbed a piece of toilet paper and wiped it up. Probably just a drink or something she had in the bathroom.

"That pizza was so good." I said right before I closed my eyes to go to sleep.

"I never thought any of this would happen. I think I'm supposed to be sad that my mum left me. But now I feel normal. She was never here anyways. She was at work with her boyfriend that my father acted like he didn't know about."

I looked over to her in the dark. "You know, even if you were with my dad I don't think I would be mad at you. Because I would know that at least you loved my father and I truly." I turned my head back and stared at the black ceiling.
