Elio
I got the information that a girl broke into our casino. The surprise and curiosity made me quit the basement before I finish the guy. The first thought that crossed my mind that she would be a trained spy. Maybe in her late thirties.
When I opened the door, I was welcomed by a girl that can't be older than 23 years old. Wearing a hoodie with long wavy dark brown hair. From here, I can only make her side profile. Button nose, defined jawline, full lips and probably brown eyes.
When I saw Enzo, one of my men landing a finger on her cheeks, I was already planning on breaking it. But before I can make a move, the girl had already kicked him in the balls. Amusement filled me, I leaned on the wall and watched the scene.
From far away, you will assume she's a weak innocent girl, but now I can see that she's not that harmless after all. She got fire in her that I don't want to extinguish.
Enzo was advancing on her, and that was my cue to make my presence noticed. All head snaps to me, but I only focus my gaze on Enzo. I don't like when people touch what belongs to me. She maybe a hostage, but she's my hostage. I use the orders of earlier as an excuse to break his finger. But honestly, I have been wanting to break it the moment he laid it on her.
Once I cleared things with Enzo, I focus my attention on her. Almond shaped dark brown eyes meet mine. The same color as her hair. While hers are warm, mine are cold. She has beautiful features, soft but at the same time attractive. Innocent and seductive. She's a mixture of everything you would ask for in a girl. But her beauty is not what surprised me, it's the look on her face. Defying, fearless, ready for whatever is coming her way. I have never had a female hostage before, but I know that this is not the normal look that should cover their face. Hell, I had grown men cry and cower under my gaze. But not her. She meets mine with full confidence.
"What's your name?"
"Why are you asking? Planning to write it on my tombstone?"
She has a light and warm voice. The kind you would like to keep listening to. She has balls too.
I smile in amusement. "So, you are aware of the danger. I thought your attitude is due to recklessness, you should have been begging for your life by now."
"I don't see the point of begging if you're going to kill me anyway. I'd rather keep my dignity."
That girl is definitely something else. It would be a shame she needs to die.
"What if there was a chance I will let you live. Would you beg then?"
"Will there be any guarantee?"
"Do you always answer questions with questions?"
"You mean like you did right now?" Okey that actually pulls a smile out of me.
"Look, you are obviously a smart girl. So-" before I can finish my sentence a small laugh escapes her.
"Did I say something funny?" I say to her smiling face now.
Her cheeks lift when she smiles in an adorable way that I try not to focus on. I had already wasted too much time, but something inside of me want to make this discussion last as long as possible.
Maybe if we met in another world, where I'm not the monster but the gentleman, and she was not a spy but a normal girl, things would have turned out differently.
"No, it's just that people always assumed at first that I have a low IQ. It's funny that the last day in my life, would be the first day someone's first impression about me is that I'm smart."
She says it in a casual way as if she's talking to her friend, which made me for a brief moment feel normal. I never feel normal. I actually don't feel anything that is human, and that girl made me feel a lot of things in five minutes that I had spent with her.
"And what is their last impression?"
"If I make it out of here alive, I'll make sure to ask them."
I smile at that. "Already bargaining, I see. Well, if you tell me who you work for, I might consider letting you live."
A confused look crosses her face.

RomanceElio Beautiful, strong willed and brave. That's how I would describe the girl who broke into my casino. One last thing about her. She's different. Unusual. Unreal. She represents everything I call delusion. She makes me doubt every thing I call fact...
