Bai Qian

My brothers threw me the grandest birthday party,

even though I was fully present in the moment I couldn't wait to give  Master his gift.

As the evening drew closer most of my disciple brothers had passed out, some were still drinking but barely holding on.

I took the opportunity to sneak away, I found Master meditating by the waterfall.

I watched him for a little while he meditated and then I approached him,

I sat in front of him without disturbing him and I closed my eyes too.

I was pulled into him again and this time instead of the fragments of his past, I was walking in a blue sea covered with thick smoke.

I wanted to see what was behind it but that felt like I would be intruding.

When I opened my eyes Master was looking at me.

"Are you done?"

I asked softly and he nodded his head, I stood up and put out my hand for him.

"Come with me."

My hand tingled as he held it, and before we arrived at the Peach Garden.

I pulled out a white cloth.

"I need to cover your eyes."

He nodded his head.

I stared at his beauty and then I led him into the garden.

"Master, I know that you would have rather had a quiet day and I also that you don't like being a burden to anyone.

However Master, you need to be celebrated more than anybody else.

The things that you do so that there can be peace in the world, taking care of us.

You are important and everything about you is important,

but today I don't want to celebrate you as the God of War,

the Master of Kunlun Mountain or the Son of the first Heavenly parents.

I want to celebrate you as you, Mo Yuan not the one who lives in isolation but the one who has dreams outside of his duties."

His cheeks felt hot.

"You might have all these titles but you're still a man."

As we walked through the Peach Garden, I felt my excitement grow, I  couldn't wait to see Masters reaction to my  surprise.

Finally, we came to a stop, and I removed the cloth. Master's eyes widened as he took in the breathtaking sight before him.

I  transformed the peach groove into a celestial wonderland.

Lanterns made of peach blossoms float in the air, casting a soft, ethereal glow.

The trees are adorned with silken ribbons, and the sound of gentle music fills the air.

In the center of the garden, a beautiful,

intricately designed platform stands, surrounded by a sea of candles, a stunning, handmade,

crystal-like sculpture of two intertwined phoenixes and dragons shines, reflecting the light of the lanterns.

Master's gaze fell on the sculpture, and suddenly his eyes became unreadable.

"Master, please take a sit."

I said softly, he sat down quietly.

I placed some jugs of wine in front of him,  I also brought him a birthday cake and some sugar foxes.
