"Moody!" Minerva beamed as turned to meet the face of a seemingly grouchy young man, but in reality, was probably just Alastor having a bad day. Minerva, as always, held stacks of books in her arms, but she grabbed her wand from her pocket and proceeded to make them float. "How have you been?" Moody shrugged. "Could be better - yourself?" It had been unlikely, by last year's standards, that the two would be friends, but Minerva and Albus were both too busy with work to say more than hello in the hallway.

"I'm having a good day, surprisingly. I suppose." Her face fell a tad. "Why suppose?" Minnie hesitated. She was meant to say something that made sense, but her mouth failed her and she hesitantly replied; "Lonely as hell." Yet, it seemed fit, because she had no one to talk to since Moody and Albus had gotten busy. And yes, she had other professors to converse with, but were any of them actually like her? No.

"You and me both."
