Stretch was nervous, eating with the guys without Blue. While he and Nightmare had an understanding, everyone was still new to him, and he didn't know how they would react to him. "so, uh... where's blue?" He asked as the big skeleton that had led Blue away came back and took his seat. His red eye met Stretch's gaze, and he tried not to get intimidated. "baby blue is on a last-minute date with his boyfriend." Horror tilted his skull as he tried to determine something in Stretch before giving a small nod. Nightmare cleared his throat, catching everyone's attention. "everyone, this is stretch. he is blueberry's brother and will be staying with us until the stars are no longer a threat. stretch, this is my left hand, error. a couple of chairs down from him is dust. the one beside you is horror. the one on a date with your brother is killer. he is my right hand." Nightmare introduced. Stretch gave them all a chill wave. "nice ta meetcha all." Horror was the only one who grinned and responded back. "you too, overgrown carrot." Error looked too nervous, seeing as it was Blue's brother. Dust wouldn't look him in the eyesockets.

Dream took a long time to recover, even being in the most positive AU he could travel to at the time of Dust's destruction. Dream had been trying to pick through everything. It was true. He and Ink hadn't always seen eye to eye, but what Ink had done to Blue... it was downright villainous. Dream was actually glad Dust had come when he did and saved Blue. From them. From Ink. Dream was a fool. He knew it. Not just because he'd fallen for Blue's tricks and spell, but because he'd fallen for Ink's lies without a spell. Now Ink was a danger, not only to their former friend, but to everyone in the Multiverse. Ink was powerful and unpredictable. He didn't have a soul or emotions to hold him back if he felt he didn't need them. Nothing would stop him if he kept focus on Blue or Dust. However, the opposite was also true. Maybe Ink forgot and was wandering around, bored. Dream wasn't sure what to do next. Help his brother, who hated him? Try to move on and continue his work alone? For now, he supposed, he had to finish healing.

It was so empty. Ink stared at the drained red vial. It was empty like him. No paint. No emotion. He had to wait for a refill. How did Dust do it? He was so full of emotion that he burned their entire base to the ground. Ink didn't understand. He wanted to know. Ink blinked and looked at the empty vials, watching the paint slowly drip into them. Getting new vials was a hassle. His paints had been smashed when Dust tried to blast him into nothing. How did Dust do that? Ink needed to know. It wasn't like Dust actually cared for Blue, right? "why help someone you've always hated." Ink pulled Broomie off his back and swiped paint across the floor before jumping in. He pulled himself out into the dusty Ruins of the slaughtered AU. They always went back to their AUs eventually, so Ink would wait. Wait for his vials to refill and wait for Dust to come home. He had questions, and he would see if his enemies had the answers he sought.
