Author pov:

The next morning, Grandma and Grandpa arrived with breakfast, bringing the familiar aroma of freshly cooked dishes that filled the air with warmth. As I sat at the table, my Grandpa, usually a man of few words, gently fed me, his movements tender and caring. However, amidst the comfort of his presence, a wave of emotions washed over me, and I suddenly found myself crying in his arms.

As I sobbed, I felt my Grandpa tense up, a pang of sorrow piercing his heart. He had always been a steadfast figure in my life, one who would do anything to shield Yashwi from pain. The sight of my tears deeply affected him; he never wanted to see a single tear fall from Yashwi's eyes. Yet, here he was, the one who had unintentionally caused my distress.

He understood that if he didn't take a firm stance now, Yashwi would likely refuse to go along with the marriage that was being arranged for her. It was a decision made out of love, albeit a tough one. He recognized that his actions, while painful in the moment, were intended to pave the way for Yashwi’s future happiness and security.

With this knowledge weighing on him, he steeled his heart, transforming it into a stone, resolute against the emotional turmoil that threatened to engulf him. He held me tightly, whispering words of reassurance, reminding me that everything he did was in service of a greater good. His voice was calm and steady, trying to soothe my hurt and help me understand that this difficult decision was ultimately for my benefit.

In that moment, the depth of his love became clear. He was a man torn between his desire to protect me and the harsh realities of life that demanded difficult choices. It was a bittersweet scene, filled with love and sorrow, where both of us grappled with the weight of family expectations and the challenging path ahead. Through the tears, I felt his unwavering support, knowing that he was there for me, even as he made decisions that seemed so heavy.

Yashwi: “Grandpa, don’t you think I’m too young for all of this? It feels overwhelming.”

Grandpa: “What do you mean, Yashwi? You know, when your grandma and I got married, she was only 16. We were young too, but we loved each other deeply.” “But look at us now! You can see how happy we are together. It’s just that…

Yashwi  : But what if the groom doesn’t see me the same way? What if he dates someone else or has another girl in his life? What if he doesn’t love me like I love him? What if…”

Grandpa: “Princess, please stop worrying. He is not who you think he is. He is like Lord Rama, who has eyes only for his queen. His devotion will be unwavering, just as Krishna loved his wife with all his heart.”

Yashwi: “I want to believe that, Grandpa. But how c

an I be sure?”

Grandpa: “Trust me on this, Yashwi. One day, after your marriage, you will come back to me, and you will thank me for this union. You’ll see how everything falls into place, and you will understand the true joy that comes from love and commitment.”

Yashwi  :  Then she pouted and she didn't care about those words because she is thinking what if he don't do this  all  things.

(But she don't know that he is madly in love with her and he can burn the whole world for her. When he look her face, when she know that her room is Adharva, it's going to be funny for her.)

Then my grandpa shocked me even more with what he said. “Yashvi, tomorrow you are going to get engaged to the groom.”

“Yashvi, what? Are you guys crazy? Are you that eager to throw me out of this house, Grandpa?” My voice quivered with disbelief, my heart racing.
