Lydia's POV *tonight there is this huge middle of the season party at one of the basketball players house Kyle Russell who may I add is pretty fine not gonna lie he's a junior in high school which is 2 years older than me and a year younger than my brother who is a senior now have I asked my parents to go this party? No not yet but I can't see them saying no I mean they let Jamie go to all the parties and I know dad went to parties all the time when he was younger so why would they say no to me! I'm sat in my room when I hear a knock on the door* Lydia:come in! *Jamie walks in* Jamie:suppers ready! Lydia:what are we having? *I say while getting up off my bed* Jamie:I think it's burgers but I could be wrong! *I follow Jamie down the stairs and we sit down at our unassigned assigned seats that we came up with when we were kids and mom passed out our plates full of food* Hayley:now eat up before it gets cold! *smiles* *we all eat* Nate:so what's your plans for tonight? Jamie:well Kyle is throwing the middle of the season bash party tonight so I won't be home till late Nate:Kyle Russell? Jamie:yup Hayley:that sounds like fun! Lydia:about that I men't to ask if I can go to that? Jamie:the party?! Lydia:yeah can I? Nate:absolutely not Lydia! *says sternly* Lydia:what?! Why?! Your letting Jamie go! Nate:yeah because Jamie is 17! And your 14 your way to young! Lydia:mom? Can I! Hayley:sorry sweetheart no is no *says sympathetically* Lydia:but I don't understand! Jamie was out at parties at my age and so were you dad! Why can't I go because I'm a girl? Nate:it's more difficult than that Lydia! 1 your 14 and there's gonna be drinks at this party and although you might not drink other people are older people may I add and next think you know you'll be drugged you in a bedroom somewhere! With no one looking out for you So the answer is no! Lydia:Jamie will be there! And he's always looking out for me! Jamie:sorry sis but I will be drinking tonight so i can't babysit you tonight my mind will be elsewhere! Lydia:Omg you guys are so unfair! *storms upstairs* Nathan's POV *I don't care how bad of a dad I must sound like but I am not going to let my 14 year old daughter go to a party with 17-18 years olds she will be taken advantage off and the one thing I don't want is my 14 year old to be pregnant! I know what goes on at these parties I'm not sure if she does!* Nate:tell me how bad of a dad do I sound! Hayley:not bad at all! She doesn't know what goes on at these parties! And your right she's to young! Jamie:yeah it's not gonna kill her to not go to this! You did the right thing in my opinion! Nate:thanks bud! Jamie:I'll go talk to her she may listen to me a bit more Hayley:*smiles* Jamie's POV *I agree with dad she is not needed at this party she will be used to her full potential and end up in a room with some guy which just makes me mad honestly just thinking about that! When I got to her room I knocked on the door and walked in and saw her looking pissed on her bed* Lydia:are you here to lecture me? Jamie:no I just want you to understand where dad is coming from Lydia:enlighten me! Jamie:these parties are not a simple hang out with alcohol there's a lot more that happens like people have sex on the countertops and making out in every corner sometimes drugs are even there it's not sensible for people your age! Next year maybe he will think about more Lydia:can you just leave me alone please Jamie:yeah Lydia's POV *so although dad said yes I am still going to this party I don't care what anyone says! My plan is to sneak out and meet up with my friend Bella at the end of the block and we will walk over to the party together! Now is there a chance I may get caught by my brother yes but we are gonna hope that this doesn't happen!* 10pm *its now 10pm and mom and dad came in and said goodnight and Jamie is already left so now it's game time! I got out of my pyjamas and went into my closet and got changed into my outfit*

*I put this outfit on and I curled my hair and did some light makeup before taking my shoes and putting them on and I quietly made my way downstairs and I successfully got out of the house! Now off to the party*
