On top of the school while the sun was setting Yuggi was looking out starring at the sunset while also thinking about what has happened to her grandfather and what Pegasus did to him.
Yuggi(Thought): How did get myself into this mess? I can't believe grandpa is actually gone. One minute he's right beside us and the next Pegasus shows up and uses some kind of weird magic to steal his soul away. But why? What could Pegasus possibly want with me? And could it have something to do with my millennium puzzle. Well I will get grandpa back, I'll beat Pegasus at his own game. Wherever that is and I wont be alone to do it. Carlos is coming with me so I wont be alone in this.
Yuggi then soon left the school and got her things to go home where Carlos is waiting for her. Ever since her grandpa soul got taken away by Pegasus, Carlos never left Yuggi's side and kept her calm every since. She arrived home and looked to find Carlos outside the game shop with a letter in his hands.
Yuggi: Carlos? What you are doing out so late and what's that letter you got in your hand?
Carlos: See for yourself, I got one as well as its from Pegasus.
Yuggi: What? This came from Pegasus. What could it be?
Carlos: Open it and find out, it's the same thing as mine.

Yuggi: It's invitation to the tournament at duelist kingdom.
Carlos: That's right. And I believe were are not the only ones who got one. The letter also came with other cards as well like not the invitation but also a way to get to the place as well as entry.
Yuggi: I see now. I think I should tell my friends tomorrow about this. They need to know.
Carlos: They should. I already got my things together for the trip as well as my deck.
Yuggi: I am glad that you are coming along with me, Carlos.
Carlos: We are in this together. For your grandpa.
Yuggi: For grandpa.
The next day Yuggi went on to tell her friends about the invitation to the duelist kingdom in which they were shocked to hear about it but also worried.
Tea: A tournament at duelist kingdom isn't that an island?
Joey: So that's where Pegasus is keeping your grandpa?
Yuggi: Maybe, the only way for sure is to become a contestant. The boat is going to be leaving in two days.
