George wandered around outside for a bit, visiting a few shops but not buying anything. As he reached a nearby park, he saw two familiar faces: Tommy and Tubbo.
Of course they were arguing about what flavor of ice cream to get. He just ignored them, hoping they wouldn't see him. Thankfully, they didn't.
When he returned home, his phone rang. He quickly walked over to it, noticing it was Dream. In an instant, he answered.
"Hello, Dre-"
"George, please listen to me. Do you remember when we first called?" Dream sounded upset.
George was instantly frightened by Dream's tone of voice. "Dream? What's wrong? And yes, I do remember. Why?"
"I'm sorry. I told you Sapnap was sick. I told you he was okay-"
"Hey! Calm down. Please. What happened?"
In an instant, Dream's eyes filled with audible tears. "I told you he was okay. He's not. I lied. I was scared because i hadn't met you before."
"Dream, please don't cry. What're you talking about? What happened to Sapnap?"
Dream took a deep breath. "Around June, Sapnap was sick, and he-" Dream suddenly stopped talking.
"What? But isn't he sick right now?" George questioned.
"He... he was, but he got in a car crash. He... he didn't make it out. I didn't know anyone lived there anymore. I thought it was empty. I sent a package, trying to rid the memories of him so i wouldn't be hurt anymore. I didn't know you'd receive the package."
