3rd POV

Somewhere in the state of Delmarva, was a quite little town called Beach City. It was a peaceful day until a loud scream echoed throughout. "Nooooo!" cried a young curly haired boy, wearing a red shirt with a yellow star, blue jeans, and red flipflops, looking at a mini fridge in despair. "This can't be happening! This has to be a dream!" He exclaimed hysterically. "Lars! Lars!" he called, running to a lanky teen with stretched earlobes, unpacking a box, and wrapped his arms around the older teen's waist.

"Please tell me I'm dreaming!" cried the boy. "Get off me, man. I'm stocking here." huffed Lars, walking away, making the younger fall to the floor. "I'm sorry, Steven. I guess they stopped making them." shrugged the girl behind the counter, looking down at Steven."

"Stopped making them?! Why in the world would they stop making Cookie Cats?" Steven demanded. "They're only the most scrumptious and delicious ice cream sandwich ever made! Don't they have laws for this?!"

"Tough bits, man." sighed Lars, "Nobody buys them anymore. Guess they couldn't compete with Lion Lickers." Lars motioned to the big freezer behind him.

Steven groaned and looked at the happy lion in disgust. "Ugh, not Lion Lickers! Nobody likes them! They don't even look like lions!" He exclaimed, showing the misshapen popsicles. "Kids these days! I'll tell you what." scoffed Steven.

"Well, if you miss your wimpy ice cream so much, why don't you make some with your magic belly button." Lars laughed sarcastically. "That's not how it works, Lars!" Steven rolled his eyes before pulling his shirt up to reveal a pink gem where his belly button should be. "Right?" he wondered to himself, smushing his belly together.

Sighing, he walked back to the cat freezer with longing in his dark eyes. "Oh, sweet Cookie Cats with your crunchy cookie outside, your icy creamy insides, you were too good for this world." Steven whispered, drawing a cat onto the glass and pressing a kiss to it.

The older teens looked at each other curiously and slightly weirded out. "Uh, Steven, do you want to take the freezer with you?" The blonde asked to which Steven nodded sadly.

Steven hummed happily to himself as he run up a hill, the Cat Freezer snugly strapped against his back.

*Timeskip*

He ran up into a beach house built into the hill, with a statue of a woman being the base. "Hey guys, you won't believe this!" Steven yelled, yelping as a green and black centipede jumped at him screeching, dripping acid from its mouth. "Aah!" Steven cried before a purple and black whip wrapped around the centipede pulling it away.

" 'Sup, Steven?" called a purple woman, holding the whip in her hand, sending Steven a peace sign. Steven watched in awe as another woman dressed similar to a ballerina used a blue spear to destroy three of the centipedes, knocking two into the air.

Two were caught by a red woman whose hands were encased in gauntlets. She broke the bug over her knee effortlessly, before punching back several approaching. She didn't seem to notice a big one approaching, ready to bite her when a vine wrapped itself around the house, grabbing several runaways before a male figure appeared, tiptoeing along the vine, gently tapping each monster on its head, making it screech before poofing into thin air.

The red lady peered over her shoulder and smirked slightly, "Thanks, Em." She spoke with a British accent. "Careful Garnet, seems like your losing your touch." smirked the green male, his own British accent clear.

"Cool! What are these things?" asked Steven, excitedly watching one crawl nearby. "Ugh, sorry, Steven. We'll get these centipeedles out of your room." promised the ballerina woman from earlier, holding one of the creatures in her arms. "We think they were trying to get into the temple."
