Elena arrives the next day at school only to find Stefan trying to catch up with her
"Elena!"he yelled
Elena turned around to see Stefan ,she had no problem with her but she is afraid he got the bad idea and judging by what he said yesterday he definitely likes her.
"Hi"elena said and smiled
"I wanted to ask you what are you doing later, maybe we can go grab a coffee or something"Stefan asked smiling
Elena slightly distracted by what he said when she sees kol and Caroline Forbes flirting with each other.
"Earth to Elena?"Stefan said tilting his head
"Sorry what was that"elena asked looking at Stefan
"Coffee later hang out?"Stefan asked
"Yeah sure meet me at the grill then at 4 see you later "elena said and smiled as she walked of also a bit disappointed about what she just saw but they only had a conversation in class and by the looks of it he is calling caroline a lot more than darling.
*at the grill*
Stefan pov
I waited for Elena for what seemed like a long time at the grill when she finally walked in
"I'm so sorry my brother was being an ass at home"elena said
No it's fine I told her smiling.So coffee or do you want something else to drink I asked
"Coffee will be nice"elena said
I asked the waiter to bring two coffees and me and elena talked for about an hour I enjoyed her company so much she was nothing like Katherine ,but she doesn't seem to like me like I like her .I knew she was more interested in Kol mikealson .One of the worst originals .I met the 3 of the originals in 1889 in New Orleans they are crazy all of them especially Kol .
"It's getting late I have to go home" elena said
No problem want me to walk with you?
"Sure" elena smiled
Elena pov
Stefan is really nice and sweet but I barely know him ,I know caroline toom the place I really wanted by kol so I should just maybe give Stefan a chance when i get to know him because by the looks of it kol is a player.

Next day at school kol was standing with what seemed like the entire school of girls but he only had one interested and that was elena he wanted to see her and kill her .

Kol was walking In the school hallway when he saw Elena and saw his opportunity to talk to her.
"Hi there" he said
"Uh hi kol"elena said not really looking at him
"Did I do something to offend you darling?" He said
"Ok first of all don't call me darling because I'm not your darling let's get that straight
Second I'm not one of the many girls in the school who is going to boost your ego by throwing myself on you ,oh and caroline is the jealous type and I'm not in the mood for her yapping al day in my ear for talking to you"elena said
"Well looks like you're actually the jealous type darling "kol said with a smirk
"Didn't I just ask yo- never mind "elena rolled her eyes and closed her locker.
Kol ran after elena pretending to catch up as if he didn't have vamp speed but he needed to act human for the time
"Look I didn't mean to offend you"kol said
"Never said you did kol I just don't like you so please leave me alone"elena said irritated
Elena saw Stefan walking up and started to smile .Kol got a jealous expression feeling like he wanted to take elena and kill Stefan
"Bloody hell why am I jealous I came here for one reason and now I find myself liking her "kol though to himself
The entire day elena and Stefan where together and kol was around every corner glaring at them in jealousy.
Kol pov
Bloody hell I'm going to murder Stefan Salvatore ,I can't believe I'm finding myself liking Elena ,I came here to kill her and be on my marry way but looks like the doppelganger is going to live .
I look at her and she is just perfect ,I've seen tatia and Katherine but elena she is just different. We'll one thing is for sure she definitely has Tatia and Katherine's attitude .
I was in history class not paying attention I'm a thousand years old I've lived through all of this well most of them because my lovely brother Klaus daggerd me ,when all of a sudden I hear a voice calling my name next to me
"Earth to kol"elena said irritated
What's that darling I said smirked
"Stop that kol ,I just wanted to ask if your Ok because your surprisingly not talking and your staring at a desk"elena said
Does she care about me I thought to myself
