It has been 4 months since that night Kol still hasn't come back
Elena's pregnancy started to show and it was almost time for Hayley to give birth
Elena kept in touch with all her friends including Jenna and Jeremy
The witches haven't been causing any trouble in a month which is suspicious for everyone
Kol pov
I was in New York enjoying the city I have traveled from city to city because I haven't seen most of it because I have been daggerd for a 100 years
Rebekah secretly took photos of Elena showing her pregnant stomach and send them to me
I haven't spoke to Elena I want to go back so bad but i don't know how to face Elena after what I did
I layed on the hotel bed lost in my thoughts when i heard my phone ring I looked at the phone to see it is Elena calling I jumped up answering
"Hi " elena said
"Hi how are you" I said nervously
"I'm ok" elena said
"Why did you call" I asked
"Just wanted to tell you it's a girl " elena said
I smiled until my face started to hurt
"What do you want to name her" I asked
"I'll decide when she is born" she said
"Oh ok"i said not knowing what to say
"I better be going " she said
"Wait elena "
"Yes?" She said
"Are they taking good care of you" kol said
"They are not taking care of me I'm taking care or myself they know not to treat me like I have some sickness but they do help me a lot and make sure nothing bad happens to me and hayley" elena said
"That's good to know" I said
"Yes I better be going now " she said and ended the call
I layed back on the bed still smiling about the fact that I'm going to have a daughter but also heartbroken about the fact that i am not there with her but it's nobody's fault except my own
