An old computer lied around, inside a deep.. dark... closet? Why was a desktop in a closet???
Kaleida, a human girl around 16 years old, opened her mothers closet door. Taking a peek into the nooks and crannies, looking around for anything she might take. Considering, Kaleida's mother had passed away, leaving her alone with her father. She noticed this old Computer, branded below its screen "Circuit Conduit™". She seemed intrigued, but it looked super old. The thing had to be at least over 8 years old. It was covered in dust, and spiderwebs were in every tight spot and hidden areas between the screen. Could it even be powered on after so long?
This made Kaleida determined. She carefully picked up the Computer, carrying it towards her room. And as she made it to her room, she gently placed the Computer down, right in-front of her window, on her desk. She huffed as she put it down, rubbing her arm across her forehead, wiping off imaginary sweat. She dragged her chair out from under her desk, and got under her desk. Taking the cord to the old Computer, and plugging it into the plug. A click was heard, and she scooted out from under her desk, scooting her chair closer and sitting in it. She attached a mouse with a cord on it, as well as a keyboard with a cord on it. She pressed the power button on the side of the Computer. As a fan had kicked on internally, and its screen began powering on. However, it failed to load, and it dragged too much power out. Short-circuiting Kaleida and her fathers power-box. She groaned, and her father yelled out, "KALEIDA! WHAT DID YOU DO HONEY?".
The loud voice of her father startled her, but by the tone of his voice, he didn't seem mad. He seemed confused, so she responded, "This Computer took all the power and it didn't even turn on!".
While the two got out of their rooms to check outside, the Computers screen blankly turned white. Illuminating light across the pitch black room...
