I groaned as I turned over unable to breathe since I had a stuffy nose.
I picked up my phone that was resting on my nightstand and looked at the time which read
'7:55'
Guess I'm not going to classes today, I got up out of bed starting a warm shower.
Once I got out I put on some grey sweatpants and my black sports bra before I went out to the kitchen to make me some tea with lemon.
" Morning, not going to classes today?" Scarlett asked from the island when I walked out.
" not today I feel like I'm dying" I said as I looked for some Tylenol I had a pounding headache.
" Okay I hope you feel better, I won't be home till late I have work right after class" Scarlett explained making me nod.
" Kay, be safe" i called out before she made her way out for class. I poured the hot water on top of the tea bag and putting in a slice of Lemon before heading back to my bed.
I put on some random movie before grabbing a book that I was currently reading off my windowsill.
**** I woke up to someone knocking on the door , I groaned as I turned over carefully marking my place in my book since I fell asleep with it in my hand.
I stood up as I looked around my room and grabbed the first jacket I found on the floor.
The knocking intensified making my head start to ache again.
" here I come" I yelled as loud as I could as I turned the lock and pulled the door open.
"Why weren't you- " Avery started before she stopped her self her eyes scanning over me.
" are you okay Abella" Calistas voice asked softly as she looked up at me. " I'm just not feeling good" I replied as I zipped my jacket up.
" come inside" I said as I let them in, shutting the door behind me.
I slowly made my way back to my room Calista and Avery following behind Me.
"Why are you guys here" I questioned as I wrapped myself in my blanket, Calista making herself comfortable on my beanbag.
" I came to bring your work , your boyfriend Nicholas offered to give it to you but I laughed in his face... that's beside the point, can I get you anything?" Avery rambled anger flashing through her eyes as she talked about my new friend.
"He's not my boyfriend" I chuckled softly. " mk, I'm going to make you something I'll be back" Avery said before she made her way out my room.
Calista stayed in here with me, entertained by the cartoon that was playing on my Tv.
" How was school" I asked Calista as I laid my head down on my pillow turning to face her direction.
" it was good, guess what we had for lunch, Pizza!" Calista said excitedly.
" yum, what did you get cheese or pepperoni" I asked the girl who has yet to take her eyes on the Tv.
" Cheese it's my favorite" she smiled finally looking at me before quickly looking back towards the Tv.
I let my eyes close for a while letting them rest as my head was pounding.
Avery came in a bowl of soup making me open my eyes and face her.
"Sit up" she told me before I slowly pushed myself up barley being able to keep my eyes open.
She put her hand on my head before she sighed and walked out the room, she came back in not to long after a thermometer in hand.
Once the thermometer was done she took it and read the temperature before mumbling "Povero Bambino"
" here you need to eat" she said before handing me the soup, I could only manage to eat two scoops before I gave up.
" I'm not hungry" my voice came out raspy due to the lack of use today. " Okay well go to sleep" she said making me look up at her.
" will you be here when I wake up" I questioned making her eyes flicker with something I couldn't quite catch.
"Yes if you want me to be" she said making me nod before I turned over and closed my eyes, trying to sleep.

When I woke up again this time is was dark in my room, my Tv must've went on energy savings.
I went to sit up when I felt a heavy weight in my lap, I looked down and blinked a few times before I realized it was Calista.
I turned the lamp on beside my bed and I saw Avery sleeping on my beanbag my heart warming at the sight.
She really stayed.
I felt a little bit better then I did earlier I can actually function.
I quickly went to the kitchen and poured me a cup of water when I heard shuffling coming from my room.
As soon as I turned my head I instantly met dark brown orbs. " feeling better?" Avery questioned.
" a little bit, thank you for staying" I said before I sat my glass in the sink. " always" she smiled.
" let me go get Calista so we can go, I don't want to bother you anymore" she said before she went to go walk away.
" why don't you guys stay" I said making her instantly stop and turn to face me. "I-I mean she's already sleeping what's the point of waking her" I said quickly with a shrug.
" okay" Avery said before we both made our way back to my room, Avery scooted Calista over so I would be able to lay comfortably.
even though I told her it was fine I had a huge bed and she was barley taking up any room.
I turned the lamp off as I went to lay down, Avery going back towards the bean bag which I knew had to be uncomfortable on her back.
" you can come up here" I said looking up at the ceiling. " are you sure , you already have Calista up there" she said.
" I'm positive come on" I said right before I felt the bed dip, letting me know Avery got in the bed.
After a few minutes Avery pulled me on top of her so I was laying on her chest.
" are you crazy, im sick" I said as I tried to get off her chest but she pushed me back down.
" it's okay, lay down" she said as her arms kept me from moving. After a few more protest I gave in laying on her chest and resting my eyes.
I instantly fell back asleep and I didn't wake back up until the next morning.
