Echoes Verdicts and Vows

PROLOGUE

Doctor Aeson is gasping for an air after he leaves the operating room, he is the head surgeon of a very risky operation, inside the operating room was the head of the Falcon taskforce, and he didn't have a sleep for nearly 15 hours, it took him 13 hours to get the bullet out of the Commander Reyes's heart and took him 2 hours to finally wrapped the operation, he can't just passed it to someone.

He might disappoint his uncle who counted and trusted him in this situation.

He sighed and closed his eyes while his back was resting at the bench inside the staff room of the Hospital he was in, the Hospital was owned by Clyde Reyes, younger brother of Commander Reyes that's why he can go in and go out without any hindrances, even he is not one of the hospital's staff.

Aeson is known for being a millitary Doctor for almost 5 years, and he is committed to his work, some might think he is enjoying being in the kind of risky work because of the devotion he is putting on, but Aeson knows, knows the real reason why he is putting his own life at the edge of the hell.

Being back in his own life is not a problem for Aeson, he can do it in just one blink, but he chooses not, why? He had a duty to fulfill.

Being a Cardiologist is not easy, but Aeson managed to be on top, he had a severe training to get on top, he did everything to be put his name on the 'list of the best cardiologists in the country' he took risky training and underwent massive amounts of life threatening training.

Aeson just rested for nearly 20 minutes when he heard a knock.

"Doctor Aeson? Are you there?"

He heard the voice but was too lazy to answer he just groaned and was still eye shut.

"Doc, hinahanap po kayo ni Doctor Nova."..

Aeson groaned again and pushed himself to open his eyes, bumungad sa kaniya ang isang binatang Nurse.

"Pakisabi susunod ako, I'll just change."

Agad na tumango ang Nurse at nagpalaam, pagod man ay bumuntong-hininga si Aeson at walang choice kundi ang magbihis.

He sighed again and walks towards the secret alley that connected to the staff room and his grandfather's office.

He was welcomed by a four men, including his grandfather who is wearing his coat, as he suspected galing ito sa pagbisita sa mga pasyente nito.

"Here come, My grandson, come here my son." ani nito ng makita siyang nakatayo sa pintaun, hindi nakatakas sa pandinig ni Aeson ang pagmamalaki sa boses nito, dahilan para matuon sa kaniya ang mata ng mga naroon.

Aeson wanted to get out of his grandfather's office but he knows he will skin him alive afterwards, so he decided to endure a little.

"The news didn't disappoint my eyes, Nova, Your Grandson is just a carbon copy of Doctor Nexton."

A man in his middle 60 said, making Aeson's face sours.

But he politely offered his hand. "Nice meeting you, Atty. Cynon Reyes, I am Doctor Aeson." formal niyang pakilala, rinig niya ang mahinang tawa ng attorney at tinanggap ang kamay niya.
