Timmith and Sayori are now walking home together while they immerse themselves in conversations. He asks a question in order to be familiar with Sayori without her noticing that Timmith is an outsider
"Hey, Sayori. How's your school life so far?"
Sayori shrugs, a mix of nonchalance and slight annoyance in her expression.
"Eh, it's school, you know? Monotonous routines, boring classes, homework on weekends... the usual stuff. It's not terrible, I guess, but I could do without all the tests and assignments."
She glances at Timmith with a sly smile.
"Why do you ask? Are you genuinely curious about my school life, or are you just looking for something to bug me with?"
Timmith shrugs with nonchalance aswell
"I don't know... maybe both?"
Sayori rolls her eyes, but a lighthearted chuckle escapes her lips. She bumps Timmith playfully with her elbow.
"Typical Timmith, always ready with a silly comment."
She grins and shrugs again.
"It's not like you to ask personal questions without a mischievous intent, so why the sudden interest in my school life?"
"Well... there's something I wanna ask. Are you in a club?"
Surprise registers on Sayori's face for a moment, but then she grins, a mix of pride and amusement in her eyes.
"As a matter of fact, I am. I'm one of the members of the Literature Club. We all get together to share our writings and discuss poetry. It's actually quite fun."
She shrugs, feigning nonchalance.
"Why, are you interested in joining? Hoping to see me more often?"
Timmith shakes his head in denial
"No shot. I'm not joining the Literature club."
Sayori pouts, feigning disappointment.
"Aww, what? Not interested in bonding over sonnets and Shakespeare? And here I thought you enjoyed literature. What a shame."
