After their tense first meeting, both Aman and Priya assume they’ll keep their distance from each other. But things take a surprising turn. Later that evening, Priya heads to the library to work on a secret project that’s very important to her. She’s so focused that she doesn’t notice Aman quietly slipping in behind her, driven by curiosity to follow her again.

The library is nearly empty, with only a faint glow from the ceiling lights and the occasional sound of footsteps. Suddenly, there’s a loud clang as the door locks behind them. The lights flicker before going dim. They’re both trapped. Priya’s eyes widen in shock when she realizes she isn’t alone in the room.

“Aman?” she whispers, her voice showing a mix of frustration and surprise. “What are you doing here?”

“Relax, topper,” he says with an easy smile, though he looks a little uneasy himself. “It’s not like I planned this.”

As they search for a way out, the eerie quiet of the library makes every little sound seem louder. They split up, each moving through the rows of bookshelves, sometimes catching a quick glimpse of each other in the shadows. The dim lighting casts strange, stretched-out shapes on the walls, adding to their tension. Priya tries to focus on finding an exit, but she can’t shake the feeling of being watched.

Suddenly, she hears a soft whisper, almost like her name, coming from the far corner of the library. She stops in her tracks, her heart racing.

“Aman, was that you?” she calls out, trying to sound calm. But there’s no answer.

She cautiously moves around a corner, and just as she thinks she sees something move, Aman appears out of nowhere, making her jump.

“Looking for me?” he smirks, but his eyes seem sharp, as if he also feels something strange in the air.

“Don’t do that,” she snaps, pushing past him. But there’s a thrill in the air, an odd energy that makes them both uneasy.

As they continue searching, Priya spots a small, hidden door near the back of the library that she’s never noticed before. The door is slightly open, and beyond it is a dark, narrow staircase leading down. Aman, ever curious, stands beside her, clearly excited.

“What do you think is down there?” he whispers, his voice soft in the stillness.

“We shouldn’t go in,” Priya says, but she can’t help looking curious too.

Despite her hesitation, they both step through the doorway, the air getting colder with each step down the staircase. At the bottom, they find an old, forgotten room filled with dusty books and strange items—maps, letters, and faded photos, all hinting at a hidden story from years ago.

As they look through the items, they find a photo of a girl who looks surprisingly like Priya. She’s standing with a group of students from decades ago, wearing a strange pendant around her neck. They both stare at the photo, speechless.

“What is this?” Priya whispers, her voice shaking slightly.

Before Aman can answer, they hear footsteps coming from above—the sound of someone walking down the staircase. Fear rises in both of them as they realize they aren’t alone in the library after all.
