In his unconscious state, Luffy suddenly noticed he could move his consciousness. But... he couldn't open his eyes. He felt an overwhelming fatigue, like he was trapped in a deep slumber. He could hear sounds from the outside, sense what was happening around him, but... his eyes wouldn't open. The feeling was intensely uncomfortable.
"Damn it! What's going on? What happened to me?"
Luffy couldn't make sense of the situation. But soon enough, he remembered what had happened earlier. He'd been in a battle with the giant gorilla. And... he had been struck with a brutal attack. On top of that... he'd been severely injured, falling straight into unconsciousness.
"Huh?"
Luffy realized he'd subconsciously checked his system status. "My Conqueror's Haki has increased so fast!"
He was puzzled. He distinctly remembered that the value was around 51 before. But now... it had reached 60. Such a rapid increase was indescribable. A nine-point jump in minutes—this was like having a cheat code.
"If it's like this," he thought, "then it won't be long until it hits a hundred. I'll be unstoppable then! Hahahahahaha!" Luffy was ecstatic.
With his mind, he asked, "System! Why did my Haki increase so fast? Did I gain insight into something?"
Then he added, "Wait a second. If I'd actually realized something, shouldn't I have noticed it? I wouldn't need to ask you."
Luffy wanted to scratch his head, but even his hands refused to move. This left him bewildered, uncertain of the cause. Then the system responded.

One simple, direct answer. Nothing more, nothing less. It was so vague it felt almost meaningless.
Luffy was bewildered but, ultimately, relieved. It was a good thing, after all.
"You win, system," Luffy admitted with a sigh, replaying the recent events in his mind, trying to piece it all together.
