Spiderman Kiss: Niam

The boys and I have decided it’s a good day for a break.

So, here we are, our local park.

Louis and Harry are having a swinging competition, seeing who can swing higher.

Zayn was lying in the middle of the teeter-totter, looking up at the sky, ‘finding the shapes in the clouds’. 

I was sitting atop the slide.

And Liam, he was playing on the monkey bars.

“Ni! Niall! Ni help me!” I looked around for the voice that was calling me.

My eyes landed in Liam.

Hanging, upside down, stuck, on the monkey bars.

I threw my head back laughing. “Li, how’d you manage that?”  

I asked sliding down.  “I dunno! I was just trying to walk across and I slipped, then. Now look! I’m stuck. Upside down!” He yelled, with laughter written in his voice.  

I walked up to him. And, stopped in front of him.

“You know Li. I don’t know if I should help you down. I mean, I’ve always wanted a Spiderman kiss.”   

“Please Ni. I can feel all the blood rushing to my brain!”  

“What about my dreams about getting a Spiderman kiss? I can’t just let them die can I?”  

“Then kiss me and help me down.” I laughed, but closed the space between our mouths. Our lips moving in perfect sync. After a bit, I backed away smiling.

“Thanks for making my wish come true Li.” I winked at him, grabbing his waist, pulling him down.   

Once his feet were firmly on the ground, he faced me, and gave me another kiss.

“Love you Ni.” He whispered when we broke apart, giving me an eskimo kiss.  

“Love you to Li.” I whispered back.
