Third person

It had been a month since the girl and the three boys had woken up in the middle of nowhere, and a lot had happened.

The dark skinned boy was Alby, the blonde was newt and the girl was y/n. They had all realized that the only things they had with them were their names. All four kids had grown close over the month, connecting with each other like a puzzle.

"Y/n, are you ok?" asked a worried newt. He glanced at her knee, his eyebrows furrowed when he saw the red scratch blotched with blood. "I told you not to run around like a lunatic" he sighed. Newt and the boys were like brothers to y/n. They took care of her and she took care of them. They were all each other had. "I'm sorry i was chasing the chicken that escaped" she said, staring down at her brown boots. "It's alright, just don't do it again" newt told y/n softly as he sat next to her and engulfed her in a big hug, "I just don't want you getting hurt" he added. Y/n tightened her hug around newt, she wouldn't want anything to ever happen to him or the others. They were her world, the only thing she had in this prison.

"HEY GUYS IF YOU DONT COME HERE RIGHT NOW ILL EAT YOUR FOOD" shouted Minho. Y/n laughed lightly at the thought of Minho engulfing everyone's food. She stood up, helping newt up with her. "We should go get our food before Minho does" she said as she laughed again, newt chuckling beside her.

As newt and y/n walked towards the small fire they had set up they saw alby staring at the small opening in the wall. "Hey, you ok?" Newt asked, worried. "Yea... I'm just wondering what's out there" he replied his eyes still on the wall. Y/n shivered at the thought as a cold breeze swept her hair up onto her shoulders. She looked at the opening in the wall, which was now closed. They had decided to call the area they were in the glade, as it was a massive opening of grass. The four kids had realized soon after they came up that the opening in the wall opened and shut at the same time every day, keeping whatever was inside away from them.

A loud horrifying sound came from inside the walls, making the kids jump.

"I'm still not used to that at all" said Minho as he sat on a log eating a sandwich alby had made. "I'm not sure we ever will" was all y/n could say back.

She turned around, moving her gaze from the Massive doors on the wall to the boys. "So.. what's for dinner?" She asked to no one specifically. "Nothing much, just a sandwich" shrugged alby as he got up to sit next to Minho. "I'm gonna skip dinner" y/n said to the boys as she walked over to a few bags of hay and laid down. She stared into the darkness of the glade. How long will we be stuck here.. she thought. Her vision blurred, sleep slowly clouding her mind.

The sun brightly blinded y/n's eyesight as she opened them. A loud rumble echoed through the glade making me y/n jump up from the bags she slept on. Oh it's just the doors. She sighed as she rubbed her eyes. "Rise and shine!" Minho called as he ran over to y/n, his clothes and hands covered in dirt. "Wanna help?" He asked. "Yea sure" she yawned as she followed him, pulling her sleeves up as she approached the area Minho had dug up. "Are you serious right now.." she said bluntly staring at the messy pile of dirt In front of her. "What?" minho said as he looked at the mess he had made "okay I guess I might not be that good at farming stuff..." he added after some silence. "Maybe we should just- " A loud blaring alarm cut y/n off.

Y/n and Minho turned around facing where the alarm was coming from. They both started running towards the metal box as they met up with newt and alby who had also heard the sound. "GUYS WHAT HAPPENING" newt shouted. "HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW" Minho fired back. Suddenly the alarm stopped and the roof of the box slowly opened revealing the familiar cage the kids had woken up in. Alby jumped down first, taking a look at what was inside.

"It's... a boy"
