JESSIE'S POV:

"My words were caught in my mouth, I didn't know whether to say yes or to say no but I surely knew that I wanted to go with him on another date but I felt like everything was moving so fast."

"Jessie ?, am I getting a yes or a yes" he asked me anxiously waiting for me to answer.

Sure I'll go with you. After that he left when I got the thought that I'll be getting back to an empty house but I got used to it eventually. I than took a shower, put on my face mask and than made dinner and went to bed.

I got to bed but realized I wasn't sleepy at all, I took out my journal and started writing but all I could think about was Logan. I haven't felt about someone like this, it was the first feeling I got about someone. It was something about Logan, like he was different he gave me a feeling like no other.

I fell asleep. I slept like a baby and my body was relaxed.

Jessie woke up to the warm sunlight peeking through her curtains. She stretched, feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep.

Her morning routine was a soothing ritual: a 30-minute jog, a quick shower, and a hearty breakfast.

As she headed to school, the crisp air showering her.

At school, Jessie navigated the halls with ease.

She attended her classes, taking diligent notes and participating in discussions.

Before she knew it, the bell signaling the end of English class rang.

As she gathered her belongings, Jessie collided with a tall, athletic figure.

"Sorry!" they exclaimed in unison.

Logan's bright smile greeted her.

"Hey, Jessie! No harm done."

Jessie's cheeks flushed.

"Hi, Logan. Guess I wasn't watching where I was going."

Logan chuckled.

"Guess not!"

As they walked out of class, Logan fell into step beside her.

"Headed to the library?" he asked.

Jessie nodded.

"Yeah, need to study for history."

Logan gestured.

"Mind if I join? I've got some reading to catch up on."

Jessie's heart skipped a beat.

"That'd be great."

Together, they strolled to the library, the silence between them comfortable.

As they settled at a quiet table, Logan asked,

"How's your day been?"

Jessie smiled.

"Good. Yours?"

Logan leaned back.
