DREAM - 02

No one's Pov:

"Hey, get in. I promised to my date that I'll go back to her." Yoko says while having her head out in the open, looking at Sonya.

"Finally, you took so long," Sonya says, grabbing her bag and entering the front seat. "Why are you going in the front?" Yoko ask while raising one of her eyebrows, "Stupid, I told you, I said to Lookmhee that I was the one picking you up." Sonya muttered in an annoyed manner.

"No. I don't care what you said. You're lucky I even came to pick you up. Sit on the passenger seat."

"But you said-!" Yoko immediately shushed Sonya, not making her fully say what she wanted to say.

Sonya then went back and closed the door on the driver's seat, walking to the passenger seat instead. "I hate you." She slowly mutters with both hands combined. "You know you can't drive, and I don't want to risk us getting killed because of your awful driving skills." Yoko blabbered, spitting out words that hurt to hear, "Hey! No need to be a blabber mouth!" Sonya interrupts while Yoko starts to drive.

"What's wrong this time? Also, why are you out fast? Usually, when you are with Lookmhee, you take a long time coming back to our place." She questions, continuing to drive. "You'll find out anyway." She opened her bag and got her phone to call someone rather than answering. "Hey, don't act like that. You're sulking again. Did Lookmhee forget to kiss your cheeks? Haha." She jokes, this time, they were stuck in traffic. The lights were red, Yoko took this opportunity to look at Sonya.

"Please, can we talk later? I'm calling someone?" After speaking, the other cars started moving forward as the red light ended.

"Calling someone? Your screen's literally black!" Unexpectedly, Yoko took Sonya's phone and put it on her side of the car. "What's your problem!?" Sonya shouted, not noticing that her emotions got the best of her. "You're acting weird today. First, you were happy, now annoyed! Tell me what happened at Lookmhee's place?!" Trying to simultaneously look at the road and at Sonya.

"She's getting married. Lookmhee's getting married." Sonya repeated two times.

"Ha!? What do you mean getting married?!" Yoko shouted, immediately stopping at the side of the road, trying to comprehend what Sonya had said to her. Just like earlier, when Sonya had heard what Lookmhee had said. "I can't believe it... No, it can't be. Lookmhee doesn't even have a boyfriend from what I know! Surely it's a joke, right? Right?"

"It's real; she's getting married. I don't even know the guy. She asked me to be her bridesmaid."

After Yoko knew that it was real, she started the car once again and drove faster than ever. Passing by each car, one by one. "Yo slow down!" Sonya worried, holding Yoko's hand, trying to make her stop. "Where are we going!?" Trying to keep calm, Sonya tries to hold the car wheel and fights for it. "Don't do that!" Yoko shouts, still holding the wheel.

"I can't see the way! Put away your hands! This is dangerous!"

"Yoko! Look out!" Sonya removed her hand from the wheel, realizing that they might hit the passing car.

Lookmhee's Pov

I hate it; I hate it whenever there's a meeting held by him. He always says something useless. It's killing me; he always acts like an idiot whenever there's a meeting with the family. He thinks he's smart, but it's just his shitty ego.

Worse, he even talks badly about Sonya. That's the only thing that shouldn't come out of his mouth. If he ever talks bad about her again I might punch him this time.

Right at the moment, I'm at my mom's house, in my room, waiting for him to arrive. At a young age, I didn't understand why mom would want to divorce him as he was a "good father figure" growing up. I wouldn't even call him a good father figure. He would always come home drenched in alcohol and other girls' cologne; he couldn't even cook for me. He would just buy fast food, which was the cause of my cavities.
