Alexandra
Saturday was quiet. I stayed in my room most of the time till dinner and no one checked up on me.
When it was time for dinner I went out and immediately saw the person I wanted to avoid the most.
Jackson.
He was leaning against his twin's bedroom door which was right across from mine. He raised an eyebrow at me when I stopped and looked at him.
If he's not gonna talk then I won't either. I stepped away from my room and walked downstairs.
Damien was already at the table but other seats were empty. I went to sit at the place I sat yesterday but Damien stopped me. "Sit next to me, Warren is gone for the weekend."
I nodded my head and sat next to him. At least he was polite. Warren was gone for the weekend and Ellie was with Adam so it leaves Damien, Oliver and the twins.
After a moment Oliver walked in then Caleb and Jackson. Caleb sent me a small smile and sat down. Jackson followed his brother's movement but he glared at me.
I rolled my eyes and picked up my fork.
"Hey, Alexandra I didn't see you today where you in your room?" Oliver asked as he bit into his sandwich.
I nodded my head.
"She doesn't have anything better to do obviously." Jackson added and glanced at me, "What? Am I wrong?"
"Jackson!" Damien gave him a cold look. Jackson sighed and continued eating.
"How was your day Oliver?" Damien asked and everyone started conversing with each other.
I just ate quietly and once I was finished, I stood up. "Wait up."
I turned to see Damien standing up from his seat, "We're gonna play games now, don't you wanna join?"
I gulped. To be honest I didn't want to be in the same room as Jackson as he made it pretty clear he didn't like me. But I did want to play a game with Damien and others. They were nice and grandparents never spent any quality time with me.
I nodded my head.
Caleb frowned and was about to say something when Damien gave him a look that stopped him.
We started by playing monopoly. Oliver wanted to be the banker and the rest of us played. Damien ended up winning.
During all the games Jackson didn't really pay attention to me and that was good for the change, I've been here only for two days and he has already sent me hundreds of glares.

"What's your schedule?" He asks smiling at me. I don't understand what he sees in me or why he wants me.
"I have math now." I tell him and he frowns. "That sucks. I have history. I have to leave you."
"It's okay, it's just one period." I don't understand some of the things he does or how he thinks but he cares for me.
"You should come over tonight." He tells me as he starts walking towards my class.
"I don't think my grandparents will let me."
"Then tomorrow?" He asks with puppy eyes.
I chuckle as I stop next to his locker. "You should take your books, you don't want Mr. Harrison to yell at you again."
"I don't care." He shrugs.
"I do. You should study more." I open his locker and take his history book and notes out of it. I hand them to him and he smiles. "You're the best and don't forget tomorrow midday?"
I nod my head even though I'm not sure if I can go over to his house. My grandparents would never let me.
"I'll try my best." He smirks and turns around. "I'll be waiting."
"No!" I wake up sweating and shaking a bit. No. Just a nightmare nothing else. I take a few deep breaths and lay down again. It's okay Alex. New house. New brothers. New school. New people.
It's going to be okay.
Someone knocks on my door and I frown. It's midnight why would anyone come to my room now?
I get up and unlock the door. "Hey, I was getting water and heard you scream. Are you okay?" Caleb asks as he shows me two glasses of water.
I nod my head. "Just a bad dream."
"Okay." He entends his hand and I raise an eyebrow. "Water?"
"Oh, thanks." I take one of the glasses from him and smile up at him.
"You're going to be okay?" He asks with uncertainty.
I nod my head again and take a sip from the cup. "I'm gonna be fine, thanks for asking."
"Okay, If you need anything I'm right here." He opens the door to his room and walks inside.
"Goodnight." I tell him and close my door. I sigh and finish the rest of the water.
