So.. Yes. The same palace, the same places. It's just that the palace was abandoned after their tragic ending.
Was Lucian Jia's hallucinations?
Yes, he was. The Lucian which Jia met was completely her hallucinations and her way to cope up with abandonment issues. She suffered from Schizophrenia. And hallucinating is one of the most common symptoms of it. She read an article about Lucian and Serena which she doesn't remember. But when she started suffering from mental health issues, she started hallucinating him, as Lucian is connected to Palace.
Did Lucian actually exist in the past?
Yes. The story is all about the Lucian and Serena. The bloodthirsty knight and the princess.
And if you have basic questions of Lucian. Then I'll just tell you in short about Lucian's early life.
When Lucian was just four years old, Kyler betrayed King Elio, seeking power and wealth. In front of Lucian and his family, Kyler murdered the loyal King Elio, leaving Lucian deeply traumatized. Kyler ordered the extermination of Elio’s bloodline, leading to the deaths of Elio’s wife and eldest son. Although attacked, Lucian managed to survive.
As Lucian grew up, his desire for vengeance grew stronger. He trained as a knight, preparing for battle, and eventually infiltrated the palace under the guise of a loyal warrior. Kyler, haunted by the name Lucian, feared but never confirmed the truth about his identity.
It was at the palace that Knight Lucian met Princess Serena, Kyler’s daughter. Despite his initial resolve to avoid her, he fell for her at first sight. His feelings only deepened after a drunken Serena kissed him, a moment he couldn’t forget. Though he tried to suppress his love, he ultimately pursued her, driven by desire despite knowing she would despise him. However, public pressure forced them into marriage, causing Serena immense suffering. Lucian realized the damage he had caused when he saw her plagued by nightmares of him, shattering any hope he had of repairing their bond.
Yes, Jungkook and Jia are the reincarnation of Lucian and Serena. Though they both aren't aware of it.
In this life, Jia, doesn't have any parents and has struggled with many issues, like poverty, lack of love, and mental health issues. On the other hand Jungkook, have parents who love him, rich, and healthy. The things which Lucian craved for. And now they both have met each other, because Lucian promised Serena, that he'll be her peace in the next life.
And yes, You can imagine Lucian however you want. Looking the same as Jungkook or any different man. It's all up to you. (I myself thought of Jungkook as Lucian) The same goes for Jia and Serena.
