Opening Scene - The Void Realm

The episode opens with a mysterious, darkened landscape: the Void Realm. Fragments of energy pulse around, and shadows flicker as whispers echo in the empty space. In the center, the dark, ethereal form of Morro hovers, his eyes focused and determined. He's been searching for something—or rather, someone. Out of the shadows, a familiar figure materializes beside him: Garmadon, his armor bearing the scars of countless battles.

Garmadon: It's time we returned to The Merged Lands. There's still work left to do.

As they speak, a portal opens, linking the Void Realm back to The Merged Lands. Morro and Garmadon step through.

Cut to - The Crossroads

Back at The Crossroads, the ninja team is on high alert. Ever since Jay vanished mysteriously, the team has been tirelessly searching for him. Kai, Cole, Zane, Nya, and Lloyd have divided themselves to cover more ground, each exploring the city's hidden corners for any sign of their lost teammate.

Meanwhile, Sora has been on her own quest to find Arin, who went missing after a mission in the outskirts. The two had grown close during their recent adventures, and Sora's determination to find him has only intensified. She moves through the city, asking locals, piecing together clues, and tracking the strange energy signature he left behind. Elsewhere, we see Shin, a new young warrior arriving in The Merged Lands for the first time. Shin is dressed in traditional, elegant white robes with golden accents, symbolizing his connection to a unique energy-based element called Kinesis. His short, white hair and calm demeanor give him a distinct, mysterious aura. Though he's a dragon at heart, much like Lloyd, Shin has a sense of kindness and restraint that defines his character.

He's searching for the ninja, hoping they'll help him harness his abilities. Ever since his power awakened, he's felt a strong pull toward something greater, something that connects him to The Merged Lands's destiny. He's also heard whispers of the ninja's legacy and respects them deeply. Shin arrives at the Temple of the Elements, where he encounters Lloyd Garmadon for the first time.

Shin: (bowing respectfully) Master Lloyd... It's an honor to finally meet you.

Lloyd: (surprised but kind) Please, just call me Lloyd. So, you're Shin... the one with the power of Kinesis?

Shin: Yes. I was taught the basics of Spinjitzu, but something... different happens when I try. It's called Rejitzu. I've come to learn more about it... and perhaps, find my place here.

The two exchange a meaningful look, recognizing a shared connection. Lloyd sees shades of himself in Shin—the struggle between light and dark, creation and destruction. They quickly bond, and Lloyd decides to bring Shin along to meet the others.

Cut to - The Forbidden Five's Lair

In a shadowy, secret lair, the Forbidden Five—ancient, powerful villains who once terrorized The Merged Lands are stirring. With Morro and Garmadon's return, they're revitalizing their pact, looking for new ways to regain their power and control. Each member of the Forbidden Five channels an element that directly counters the ninja's own powers, making them a formidable force.

Rox: We'll need more than just power to bring the ninja down. We need their allies, their friends... their weaknesses.

The Forbidden Five agree, setting their sights on targeting the ninja's allies first. Their plan begins with drawing out Jay by creating an energy storm that only he can sense.

Meanwhile - Arin and Sora's Reunion

After days of searching, Sora finally finds Arin in a hidden village, training with local monks. Arin, though surprised, is angered to see Sora again.

Arin: Why are you here?

Sora: (relieved) I was worried! You just disappeared. We've got to get back—the others are looking for Jay.

Arin: I'm not coming back.

Sora: Whatever Ra's told you it's a lie—a trick to get into your head for whatever his plan is.

Arin: Sora you and the ninja have been wrong about him before—and he has been right about everything so far, he recognized it when you used your tech powers to lie to me, he knew about master wu causing the merge. Tell me if I'm wrong Lloyd has not said anything right. He thought Ra's was behind the matriarch dragon's death.

Sora: Please?

Arin: Ra's doesn't have any evil plan he is just trying to reverse the Merge, the one that master Wu caused. He can help me find my parents, not Lloyd!

For a moment, Arin's eyes glow orange with anger. Arin holds his own head in fear of what is happening to himself.

Sora: Arin, you're changing, let's go back to Lloyd, maybe the Dragons can help.

Arin: Stay away.

Sora: Please Arin. Arin let us help you and then you can go back to Ra's.

Arin: Okay.

Back with the Team - Shin's Training

Lloyd brings Shin to the rest of the team. Kai and Cole are skeptical at first, but Zane senses the purity in Shin's energy and quickly accepts him. Shin demonstrates Rejitzu, a unique spinning technique where he redirects and amplifies kinetic energy. When he spins, waves of golden lightning pulse around him, forming a protective barrier while sending shockwaves outward.

The team is impressed, especially Arin, who immediately gravitates towards Shin and asks him to teach him Rejitzu. The two quickly strike up a friendship, finding they share a lot in common.

Arin: (excitedly) Teach me how to do that, Shin! I want to learn Rejitzu!

Shin: (smiling) It's not as easy as it looks. It's about balance... you have to calm your mind, center your energy, and let it flow through you.

As they train, Lloyd watches, pleased to see the team growing stronger and forming new bonds.

The Energy Storm - Jay's Rescue

Suddenly, the team gets a signal—an unnatural energy storm has broken out near the city's edge. Recognizing it as Jay's signature, the team sets out, with Shin and Arin joining them. They find Jay trapped within a vortex, barely able to contain his own lightning powers, which are spiraling out of control. Shin quickly devises a plan, using his Kinesis to stabilize the energy and redirect it outward while Lloyd and Nya use their elements to contain it. Together, they manage to pull Jay out of the storm. He's disoriented but relieved to see his friends.

Jay: You guys again. I thought I told you to go away.

Nya: Jay please. Your name is Jay Walker. You asked me to be your yang and it was the best decision I ever made.

Jay: Leave me alone.

Nya: Jay, just try and listen to me. Jay the first time you unlocked your full potential, we were on our first date and I remember you trying to be so brave even though you were so scared. You kept trying to protect me. That was the first time you unlocked your full potential.

Jay breaks for a moment but then feels like he got hit by a truck of memories.

Jay: Nya? Kai, Cole, Zane, Lloyd I remember. I remember everything.

He then looks at Arin, Sora, WyldFyre, Frak and Shin.

Jay: So sorry but I still don't know you. You guys that tornado it wasn't me, I feel like my power was being used by something else.

The team realizes that the Forbidden Five might be responsible, using the storm to lure Jay out and isolate him. They know they're in for a difficult fight and begin strategizing.

Closing Scene - The Return of Morro and Garmadon

Morro: The ninja have gotten complacent... but they won't be ready for what comes next.

Garmadon: Agreed. It's time we teach them how it's done.

The scene fades to black as the Forbidden Five prepare their next move, each of them embodying an element that will directly counter the ninja's own powers. Their plan is only just beginning, and they're ready to take down the team once and for all.
