Unfortunately for me, the clock had not hit Friday,

I sighed heavily, restlessly launching myself onto the leather sofa in the Gryffindor common room and glancing to my left over at Hermione who appeared to be studying once again.

"Still studying?" I laughed lightly, throwing my arm over the top section of the sofa.

"Yep." She raised an eyebrow, dipping her quill in ink, "Isn't that what you should be doing?"

I scoffed, "I'm about to go to a tutoring session, actually."

Hermione instantly veered around.

"Tutoring?" She furrowed an eyebrow, "I thought you said you were doing good in all your subjects."

"Well..." I shrugged, "There's always room for improvement."

Hermione pouted. "What subject is this for?"

I dipped my head to the floorboards, "Defence Against The Dark Arts..."

"DEFENCE AGAINST THE DARK ARTS?" Hermione gasped, swiftly throwing a hand over her mouth.

"Mione!" I whisper-shouted, taking notice of the factor that we were directly in the centre of the common room with gossiping students around.

"Sorry..." She mouthed, "But your serious? I thought you wanted to be an Auror?"

"I do." I began to fiddle with the rings on my hand, "That's why I'm getting tutoring."

She nodded slowly, "Does Harry know?"

I shook my head.

"I thought you two made up the day after the fight?"

"We did." I smiled with a glint of sorrow, "I don't want to ruin it."

"You know Harry wouldn't judge you for a bad grade." She began to close her textbooks and brought them close to her chest, "Give me the real reason."

I huffed loudly, lowering myself into the back of the sofa, "It's about who's tutoring me."

Hermione's lips parted at a slight gasp, "No!"

I nodded.

"Mattheo?" She mouthed indiscreetly, compelling me to shoot her a look.

I nodded again.

"Harry would kill you if he found out-" Hermione stumbled over her words, "What are you going to tell him?"

"I'm not sure." I shrugged, "I'll just tell him i'm seeing Snape every Friday for tutoring."

Hermione rubbed her temples, "Every Friday?! Your seeing him today?"

"Unfortunately yes." I cradled my hands around my legs, "Believe me, I don't want this. "Mattheo's an ass."

"Cheers to that!" She giggled, taking a seat next to me. "Why do you think Snape chose him to tutor you?"

"Apparently he's skilled in Defence Against The Dark Arts." I raised an eyebrow sarcastically, "Not partially surprising given his background and lineage."

"What time are you going?" She frantically scanned her eyes across the room.

I brought my wrist to my eyeline, taking a brief second to look at my watch, "Now."
