Letter To a Wayward Lover: An Original Poem

Wayward lover,
In the quiet hours where shadows linger,
I forge these words with a trembling finger.
Once, we danced in the light of day,
Now, you've wandered, discarded along the way.

Wayward lover,
You echo in the halls of my heart,
A melody woven, now torn apart.
Each moment we shared, a fragile thread,
Now unraveled, like whispers of things unsaid.

Wayward lover,
You chase the moon while I stand on the ground,
A tethered star, lost in the dark,
Wandering the abyss, torn between fate.
Where are you now? I fear I'll never know.

Wayward lover,
Here I am, with ink-stained revelations,
A heart laid bare in earnest reflections.
If ever you find your way back to me,
Know that this love still yearns to be free.

If ever you find your way back to me,Know that this love still yearns to be free
