I'm walking through the forest. It's a full moon and everything is blue.
I arrive at a small square. In the middle of the square there is a baby deer. It's hurt and there is blood dripping from its stomach.
The moonlight shines and I feel dizzy at the sight of the blood. I can't control myself anymore. I start moving towards the deer.
Before I get to it someone else is already above the deer. He drinks the blood and turns his head around. It's him.
The pale face, the eyes and the same evil smile. Then I'm drowning and I can see the moon shining above me.
Then I see a hand with black nail polish and a blue bracelet. I reach for it and finally I can see the moon clearly.
I'm yanked out of my sleep. I sit at the bed sweaty and heart beating. Yes I have a heart. I'm not in a twilight saga.
'Get your lazy ass down here!' my aunt yells. The covers fly off me and the door opens. 'I hate when you do that!' I shouted to her.
I put my dressing gown and a pair of flippers on. Then I ran to the kitchen.
There is a fresh smell of herbs and cinnamon incense. I take a cup of vanilla tea and join my aunt in the living room.
She has messy dark brown hair and lots of rings in her ink stained fingers. Her hair is full of jewelry and some thread with knots and feathers. She looks wild like me.
Sometimes I look more like her than my mom. I have tan skin and hair just a shade darker. I also love jewelry.
I sat next to her on our dark green sofa and the TV was on.
'There have been several people missing in the state of Louisiana in a small town called Natchitoches,' the news reporter says.
'This morning yet another young boy was found missing,' she reports.
'This is the sixth time in the month,' I wonder. My aunt looks tense and I can't help but think that she knows something I don't.
I hop on my car and hear my aunt yel from the porch, 'be careful.' As I start driving through our street.
As I drive I can't help, but think about what Morgan, my aunt, told me. Every dream has a meaning and you should listen to them, but I don't want to belive it for obvious reasons.
There is also the hand that I can't help but think about and I don't even know why.
I drive through the overgrown forest route towards the town.
As I'm parking at my school I see my friends running towards me.
Linda and Lucas hug me at the school parking lot and we start heading towards the doors.
'Did you hear about the new kids?' Linda asks. It's rare that there are any new people in this town so of course I curiously ask, ' no who?'
Linda tells me that there are going to be two new kids in our class.
'I heard they are really hot and brothers,' she says giggling.
Lucas continues, 'I heard they are moving to the big house next to your place Kier.'
My brows shoot up in surprise. 'To the big white mansion,' I ask curiously.
'The place was sold a month ago and now they are moving here,' Lucas shrugs.
'They can also be just rumors, but I hope not,' Linda says exitedly.
I'm definitely not excited that my peaceful life is at risk of being destroyed by new neighbors. Morgan and I are not normal. She is a witch and I well I'm not a witch, but I might be something else.
