What am I supposed to do?
I can't just poof up a new dress.
I'm not able to make a whole dress in under 10 minutes.
I ran as fast as I could to the balcony of the manor. Tears ran down my face like rain on a window.
The worst part of this was that the ball could've been the best night of my life, but I would never know.
"Oh miss, why are you crying?" An elder lady asked me. The real question is, how did she get on the balcony?
"It's nothing ma'am." I said as I wiped the tears from my eyes.
"Not going to the ball I see?"
"I can't."
"Well, we can fix that."
In the blink of an eye, the lady turned from rags as clothing to a beautiful white gown.
"Hello, I'm your fairy godmother." She said.
"Fairy godmother? There's no such thing!"
"Well, then I wouldn't be here." She walked down the stairs of the balcony to the backyard. "Now let's get you to that ball, shall we?"
She started to walk into the garden where we grew all of our fruits and vegetables.
"What are we in here for?" I asked.
"That pumpkin. Grab it."
I then picked up the pumpkin, unaware of what it was for.
"Now, do you have any spare mice?"
I remembered we had some mice upstairs in the trap, but they weren't every killed my stepmother. So, I went to grab them.
"And a dog?"
"Oh why yes we do!" I then went into the kitchen where Bruno, a bloodhound, liked to sleep. "Bruno! Oh Bruno!"
Bruno then followed me out to where my Fairy Godmother and I were.
"May I ask what we need this stuff for?" I curiously asked.
"You see, the mice will become horses." She turned the mice into horses. "The dog will become a footman." She turned Bruno into a footman. "Finally the pumpkin will become a carriage!" The pumpkin turned into a beautiful golden carriage that was almost indescribable.
"Now, off to the ball you go!" She said, pushing me towards the carriage.
"As much as I love all of this, I still don't think I can go..."
"Why not dear?" I pointed to my dress. "We can fix that." She started to wave her wand but I stopped her.
"This is my mother's dress and I wouldn't want to wear another one to my first ball."
"May I fix it up then?" I nodded.
With another wave and flick of her wand here and there, my dress became a shimmering blue gown. (Picture her ice castle dress)
"This is... wonderful!"
"Now hurry! It's getting late!" She said as I got into the carriage, before we left she told me something very important.
"At the stroke of twelve, the spell will be broken. Everything will be as it was before."
"Okay, and thank you for everything!"
I yelled as we ran off to the castle; this was more than I ever could've asked for.
Sorry for the late chapter. I have 8 hours to my next destination in the art of vacationing so I can write more chapters to each of my stories tomorrow. 🎉
Also, I added bit to the ending of chapter four. I'm adding in her ice powers to add a twist to the story.
Stay Fabulous ✌️
