Chapter 2

       Crystal POV

As I stared into his emerald looking eyes; I could feel an attraction towards him like I was being pulled by a rope. He was the cutest guy I had ever seen.

"Crystal what's wrong, you look lost ", Aria snapped as she had interrupted my thoughts.

"Oh-h-h nothing", I stuttered trying to regain composure.

"Well it better be nothing because the cute new guy noticed and is staring at you",  she said. "I think you should go for it, he is obviously checking you out", she added

"Oh no never", I replied

"Why you clearly looked interested in him", she shot back

"He is probably one of those players", I said.

(Something growls)

"Did you hear that ......."  I said and looked around for some kind of animal but the only animals I saw were kylie and her minions flirting with the new guys, " told you, they were players" I told aria. she just shrugged and we started walking to class.

I had math first, even though I was a straight a student, I still hated math and the teacher Mr. Collins, let me not start with him. once the class got full, he appeared, I was taking notes when the class door opened and revealed the hot guy from the packing lot, he saw me first and smiled but I dropped my head down back to my book.

"and who might you be?" Mr. Collins asked.

" am the new student, my name is chase white, I just transferred here." chase said.

once he spoke I was transferred into another land where I couldn't get tired of hearing his voice, it was husky and rough but at the same time sweet and gentle kind of like cookies, holy son of marshmallows , what am I thinking about, a guy that I don't even know. but you want to know him, my inner voice told me; I was snapped out of my thoughts by the chair next to me being occupied by none other than chase. just great, even from here I can smell his cologne or something I smells like chocolate.

" hi am chase."

" I know"

"so, what's your name then?" Hugh just shut up, this guy is distracting me.

"crystal, crystal waters , now please I am trying to learn?" he frowned, I don't know why but I felt like I should make him smile, gosh I am going crazy.

before I knew it, it was lunch I made my way to the cafeteria, I bought a slice of pizza a some juice, and made my way to aria but she was not alone on the table but one of the hot guys from outside was also there. I  groaned inwardly as I sat down.

" hey guys" I said.

"hey, Jake this is crystal my best friend, and this is Jake, my ummm friend." aria beamed with the biggest smile I have ever seen.

"hey.' Jake said and continued talking to aria who looked like a tomato ready for harvest. I had almost finished my pizza when the table became full, I mean it was literally full, by the strange new guys and the cheerleaders who never talk to us, I was still recovering from my shock before I found my self on the floor covered with my juice and my seat was taken by kylie who gave me a wicked smile, before I could say any thing, chase growled out loud, I mean who just growls, clearly he does, his eyes were no longer green emerald, but black and I mean pitch black and how can ones eyes just change with out a scientific explanation I most be the trick of the light. kylie looked scared for the first time while Jake and a guy I think they call will were trying to calm him down, which was not working, so I tried to leave during all of this commotion but I was thrown over a shoulder and the person ran to the back of school and dropped me I saw chase.

"cc hase ww hat are you doing ?"I stuttered.

"are you okay, are you hurt?" he asked worriedly.

[worriedly] why would he be worried , I noticed his eyes are green again most have been a trick of the light. I snapped out of my thoughts by the feeling of being pulled for a hug and I didn't resist.
