DURING 5TH PERIOD, SCHOOL
LUCIFERS POV
I was in my 5th period which was French, I'm not really good at French but it sucks because I have alastor in this class...I just wanted to leave early to go to my new job, I sat in my seat bored and I noticed alastor wasn't really putting any effort to ruin my day, but I wasn't complaining...this was the most peaceful I've been since I came to this school...
During French, I noticed alastor flirting with the new girl, Lana. I didn't really care but I wondered why he wasn't making fun of her. How come he made fun of me when I was new but he's all flirty with Lana? Is he sexist, he's probably a womanizer...that's why there's girls always swarming around him like moths to a light...
I groaned, looking away from alastor and paying attention to the teacher, suddenly, I got a text from the sweet elder lady that I could start working at the flower shop right now, I eagerly jumped out of my seat, I told my teacher I was leaving early and grabbed my things and quickly left, feeling a weight lifted off my shoulders after leaving that class...
I go to my dorm and put on something simple, I put on an apron, loose jeans, white shoes, white socks, and a nice light yellow shirt with ducks and flowers, I left my dorm and happily skipped my way out and downtown towards the flower shop, once I got in I was offered a cute white sun hat with flowers on it.
The elderly lady showed me around the small shop before I started my shift, the shop was small, with lots of flowers, the register I worked at was at the back, at the back there were 2 doors, the one of the right led to the elder ladies office, the one of the left led too a green house, it was peaceful and had lots of cute flowers, and seeds for me to plant
After the tour I happily stood at the register, waiting for any customers who wanted to buy flowers or a bouquet, I finally felt at peace...it was nice and relaxing, i wasn't dealing with alastor, the elder woman was really sweet, and the shop was small and peaceful...
Throughout my shift, everything went smoothly, I helped couples get bouquets for their partners, helped them pick out flowers, and cleaned up the place.
After a while, my stomach rumbled, I was hungry...I don't eat well, I don't have the money for it but alastor isn't here to lock me in my dorm and starve me...I can finally eat peacefully, but I can't buy food...my stomach rumbled more, i looked around, desperate for any kind of food, suddenly, the elder lady approached me, she had some pancakes in her hands.
"Here, take these sweetie...I noticed you look hungry and I like to keep my workers healthy and fed" the elder lady said as she smiled, my heart swelled, grateful for the ladies kind actions "thank you, ma'am...I was starving..." I said, gently taking the puffy pancakes, happily eating them with a content expression on my face.
Once I finished my pancakes, I put the plate away, ready for any other customers, than, alastor walked into the shop...what is he doing here! Out of all the places why here? I groaned, quickly looking away and trying to hide so he wouldn't notice me, I peaked form behind the counter, alastor was getting flowers, I looked at him closely, the looked somewhat calm, I've never seen him like this, every time I see him he's always mad...
I saw him making a bouquet with the flowers he was buying, my curiosity piqued, curious who he was getting the flowers for, suddenly, he looked over at the cash register, he saw me and his expression turned cold, I quickly looked away, looking down at the floor. He rolled his eyes and let out a frustrated sigh as he approached me
"why hello there, may I ask what you are doing here?" Alastor asked sternly. "I work here...?" I said as Alastor let out a mocking laugh "work here? Hah! I'm surprised anyone would want you working for them" Alastor grinned as he laughed, making my blood boil.
"Look, I don't want any problems, just buy what your going to buy and get out..." I said sternly as alastors grin faltered slightly, keeping his composure, "kicking me out now, are you? I bet your boss wouldn't like how your treating a customer, now would she?"
Alastor grinned, making me want to pounce at him, "well, your the one starting a conversation that I clearly don't want to be apart of..." I mumbled as Alastor snarled, Alastor grabbed my hair and slammed my head into the cash register, making my head bleed as I tear up.
"Listen here you little prick, if you keep talking with that smart mouth of yours I'll make sure everyone at school knows about your little crush and tell her EVERYTHING, you are, you pathetic excuse of a human" Alastor growled as I teared up, I know if they told Lilith anything they would lie, exaggerate it, and give me a bad image...than she'll think I'm weird and pathetic...
Tears streamed down my face, Alastor grinned more, he payed for the flowers and walked out the shop with a smug grin, tears streaming down my face as blood trickled down my forehead...my head throbbed, just as I thought I found peace in my job, alastor had to find his way towards me and ruin it all...just like he always does...
I walked over to the door, holding my bleeding forehead as he flipped the sign to "closed", I go to the office were the elder lady was, she gasped as she saw my forehead "oh my! Who did such a thing!" She said rushing towards me and cleaning my forhead head up gently, "I-it's a long story..." I said softly, sitting down in a chair as I leaned into her gentle touch...
No one had cared for me this way ever since my mom was killed...I missed this feeling, of being taken cared of...having people show this care... "you can spend the night here, my dear. If you'd like..." she said with a gentle smile, I smiled softly, nodding my head as she bandaged up my forhead and led me to a small guest room, she had clothes than fit me a bit big but they were comfy
"Thank you..." I said softly, I was just glad I didn't have to walk all the way back to the dormitory building..."of course, darling...sleep well, okay?" She said softly, turning off the lights as she left, I smiled n warmly, turning on the lamp, I curled up into a ball under the sheets, clutching the warm blanket
My head still hurt from alastors cruel actions, but soon enough, my eyes fluttered closed, I drifted off into a peaceful sleep, my gentle snores filling the small room...
