It was currently 6:38 in the morning and No Fly Zone by Lil baby could be heard in the weight room while the three boys were doing their sets of dead lifts. They had to get up this morning with their team for their morning workouts they have during the week.

Sitting on the bench waiting and hydrating, Marcel spoke up.

"Aye DK you've been pissy these past days what going on wit you?"

"Aye tho he been having an attitude at everything what's yo problem fr?." Corey said.

"Mannn fucking Chanel ass dawg. She been pissing me off since that lil game night we had."

"Mmcht I'm so tired of you complaining about her dawg. You need to let her go." Marcel said

"I'm about to I just need to figure out when to do it. She used her last strike on Saturday."

"What she do this time?" Corey asked.

Dakari went to explaining what happened on Saturday until it was time to do their next workout. By the time he finished the story, it just made the boys dislike her more than they already did.

"Yeah you need to let shawty go. It ain even no need to wait do that shit today might as well." Marcel spoke

"Yeah I just might."

Turtle Race by Rod Wave played in Dakar's AirPod max as he walked from his 12:30 class to the cafe. Even though he had a car he chose to walk everywhere on campus because why not.

As he was approaching the building, he could hear his music stop and Siri announcing the Chanel was calling him. He internally groaned knowing that it was about to be some bs and he just wanted to have a peaceful day but he answered anyway.

As soon as the call connected he heard her yelling.

"Bro wtf is yo-"

Before she could fully get her question out he hung up. He wasn't in the mood for her antics at all. Finding a seat at a table close to the window, he heard her calling again and picked it up.

"Bro what is your problem??" She asked a little calmer this time but still not enough for his liking. He just stayed on the phone this time.

"What do you mean what is my problem?" He asked calmly not wanting to give her the reaction she was looking for.

"You've been acting weird since the other day." She said getting loud again.

"What are you yelling for dude? This what I've been talking about. You don't know how to communicate like you're grown. Instead you like to yell like a child and that shit is not going to solve problems."

"What the fuck are you talking about dude." She said quite literally yelling at the phone again.

"You know what imma talk to you later I'm not about to do this with you over the phone." He said hanging up before she could say anything else.

After that whole ordeal he wasn't even hungry anymore but he knew he needed to eat something so he just grabbed himself a fruit cup and left to his apartment.

It was now 7:30 and Dakari decided to pull up to Chanel's apartment complex to get it over with today so he won't have to deal with her anymore.

You can hear Dk calling Chanel over his car speakers.

"What dude." Chanel said irritably

"Aye I don't want no problems right now I just need you to come outside to my car."

"Alright bruh."

He stepped out the car grabbing the bag of things she left at his apartment and waited for her. He didn't have to worry about grabbing anything out of her apartment because he never left stuff there.

After five minutes she finally came down. By the look on her face, you could tell that she was about to pop off and he hadn't even said anything yet.

"Aye. Before you say anything let me speak. I'm not tryna be here long I just need to get stuff off my chest and imma let you say what you gotta say alright."

"Bet. Hurry up." She said. "And is this my stuff in your hand? Are you breaking up with me." She started to yell already.

"Yes I am. But let me speak. These past couple of months with you has lowkey been hell. Your communication has not been good, you've been acting weird not wanting to go out with me anymore or have intimate times together, and on top of that you've been putting your hands on me. I don't want to be in this relationship no more because all it's doing is draining me. I don't know how you've been feeling but that's what I've been feeling. Imma let you speak and we can go our separate ways."

"I really don't have anything to say. If that's how you feel then that's how you feel."

There was a moment of silence with them just staring at each other. Dk was staring because he didn't believe that's all she had to say. Chanel was staring because she was tired of him in her face and was ready for him to go.

"Alright well if that's all you have to say then alright." Dk broke the silence

"Alright then." Was all Chanel said before walking off

Even though they were together for a long time and Chanel was his first love, he didn't feel any hurt or heart break in him. He actually felt really light and was glad he was able to do that without much drama. The whole ordeal was so laid back that he felt like that wasn't all in reality.

"Gah damn I need a blunt and ion even smoke." He said to himself as he got back in the car.
