Kera'tai has done her best to live an honorable life, following the customs of her people, the Chi'rinnis, who are blessed by a divine being. Their tribes are spread all across the Demon Wildlands, generally being insular and practicing warrior ways. Kera'tai herself is a sorceress, and she was the leader of an expeditionary force, with exception of the dragon who was commanding her.

And, she and the dragon lost spectacularly.

Of course, Kera'tai was actually lucky enough to make it out with her life, and she immediately resigned herself to her people's tradition of surrendering as war-brides in the event of being defeated, as this promotes the inclusion of strong bloodlines into the the Chi'rinnis. At least, that's the theory.

Kera'tai isn't specifically put off by her traditions. They actually make sense in most cases, including the strong bloodlines. She was ready to endure being war bride to a vicious conquerer.

And, instead, she came to know Daniel during their time returning to her village.

He is self-controlled, respectful, kind, sometimes playful, and he's very brave. He claims to be a coward at times, but he stood against some of the most powerful beings in the world, including the dragon, the drake, Kera'tai and Aoloan, and a handful of masonrahms. He defeated them handily.

And, he did all of that without a single shred of magic.

He also tricked Kera'tai into believing that he fancy's men in order to keep her from following him on a suicide mission, but he ended up victorious, and he no longer has any excuses not to accept her. It is her culture, after all.

Now, she is loosely considered to be one of his 'consorts', but she is one of the few whose affection hasn't been fully rewarded.

Until today.

She starts by finding Doephluev, the newest addition to Daniel's consorts -or at least, intimate partners-. Like most of Daniel's consorts, Doephluev was an enemy, but has been defeated and came to surrender herself to Daniel.

And, she has been with Daniel many times simply by pressuring him to help restore her race.

The Chi'rinnis don't need 'restored', but Kera'tai is his war bride, and she should be receiving as much or more of his attention as anyone else. Ideally, she is the mistress who relieves him when his 'wife' is exhausted or busy, but the dragons are seemingly inexhaustible when it comes to Daniel, as is Doephluev. Wenlianna and the two gatonine women are a little more reserved, and the two goblins are a little more careful because of their high fertility.

"Doephluev?" asks Kera'tai.

"Mm?" asks the archoneldwyn, coming to a stop after she leaves the civic office, where Shek and Skloe organize various construction and farming projects around the Fievegal because the majority of the races get along with them rather well. She bows politely at Kera'tai. "My Lady Kera'tai. How may I serve you?"

"I-I... was wondering... What do you do to... entice Daniel?"

Doephluev smiles in a cool expression. "Mmm. With all due respect, my Lady, why should I assist you? You are one of his beloved consorts."

Kera'tai fidgets with the stick she's carrying. It's part of her plan.

"I just... I want him to enjoy our time together, and you seem to be the most... adventurous."

Doephluev scoffs. She suddenly seems to have an inspiration, though, and she says a little deviously, "If you really want to know what Daniel likes, ask him to punish you."

"P-P-Punish?"

"Mm-hmm," answers Doephluev with a nod. "It's what he likes. If you can't handle it, then..."
