Sungchan didn't show up to school the next day.

This was frustrating for the student council because today was the day they had to confirm their group members with the homeroom teacher.

"You think he's skipping?" asks Taeil, looking at the empty seat in front of him. Donghyuck shakes his head. "He could have asked us to come with."

"Or let us know he was going to be late. We were JUST talking about clear communication in groupchats yesterday." Chitta emphasizes the "just" in his sentence. Donghyuck takes a glance at his wrist, then remembers he doesn't own a watch and turns to the clock instead. This earns a chuckle and a "wtf" from the blonde. It's been thirty minutes since homeroom started and there were still no signs of the brunette. "Has he answered any of your guys' messages?" The blonde turns to his group of friends.
"Nope, not even a seen" Taeil replies while twirling his phone on his desk by the corner. It's a wonder how he isn't afraid of the device falling over and cracking.

"He's probably on a break or something" Donghyuck snaps his finger and points to his friends. If he's not skipping, why else wouldn't he show up?
"He cannot take a break like that from school bro, it's school." Chitta debunks the theory then faces the front.

Just then Mr. Qian stands up from his desk. "Alright class, I hope you guys have gathered your groups like I told you yesterday. I will now be calling each of you guys up by age, and you'll present your group to me." He gives the class a bright smile and picks his clipboard up.

"Present our group?" The curly head whispers, "sounds like when we had to introduce ourselves to the whole class on the first day of school."

"Indeed Taeil." Mr. Qian's voice made the boy jump out of his seat. "This will be similar to your first day in this class. With our group of new students, I believe it will be helpful to introduce yourselves again." Upon hearing this, the entire class groaned and the purple headed teacher simply continued on with his activities.

"First up, Chittaphon"
"Damnit" The said male mumbles.

"Haha old hag got called first" Donghyuck laughs and Taeil quickly joins in.
"Are yall dumb?? You guys are in my group so yall are going first too." Chitta shakes his head and walks to the front of the class room with Mr. Qian. He tells the man the names of his group members and the teacher checks off the names and writes down "Group 1" on his clipboard. He then calls each member to the front.

"I see you have each new student in your group. How kind of you." He says and the blonde just nods and smiles. After the group is each standing in front of the classroom—Taeil standing a bit too close to Xiaojun—their homeroom teacher gives them the signal to start introducing themselves.

"I'm Chitta and I'm eighteen, you guys already know me."
"I'm Donghyuck, the alpha, and I'm seventeen" Donghyuck immediately receives an elbow to the stomach. "Bro ow!" he says to the blonde and the other just shrugs. "I told you to stop saying that."
"You can't tell me what to do boy, I'm your father!" The redhead bickers, Mr. Qian shushes them and they're back to paying attention.

"I'm Taeil, I'm seventeen" Taeil introduces himself in a sing songy voice.

"I didn't know you could sing" says the boy he's practically latched on to.

"You're impressed right? I can sing for you more whenever you want yknow all you have to do is ask. Actually you don't even have to ask I'll just sing you a lullaby every night or even sing you song every morning like an early bird when the sun comes up. Anything for my babyboy Xiao-"
"Alright let's slow down a bit there" Xiaojun laughs and cuts the shorter off. He complies and quiets down, but continues to stare at his mate with a large smile.
