"Nonsense, I want all three. And don't worry, I'll send someone to help you with the herds." "Haan janab" was all the veteran could say.

"Sir, in case they don't do well, they're not trained you see, if they get in trouble, if something goes wrong.." the veteran continued pleading. "I assure you Farooq, none of your boys will be hurt, they'll comeback to you in one piece." the leader gave his word. The veteran sighed and nodded.

The next day was unbelievable. Abhi and Bantu woke up with the veteran already mad at them. He still couldn't figure out why was the leader so hell bound to get Abhi and Bantu. He made all three boys stand up in a line as soon as they woke. After all it was Thursday already.

"He knew you! How did he know you? What did you do?" the veteran yelled in frustration. Abhi was dumbstruck. "Bhaiya saw them and ran, they must have followed him sir." Sid tried to explain. The veteran nodded, "doesn't explain why he wanted him to join." Bantu and Abhi were confused cause they didn't even know what happened last night.

They were then told about what happened. And that didn't solve their confusion yet. Just when they were explained they had to go to the terrorists training camp for training, Bantu's eyes widened with fear. "But sir we are not suitable for this!" he exclaimed.

"You think I don't know that?" the veteran snapped back. "I want you to do whatever it takes to get out of there as soon as possible." he added. Their eyes shone with excitement. "Whatever it takes?" Abhi asked smiling. "Whatever it takes." confirmed the veteran.

While they were both looking at each other in excitement, the veteran interrupted "without compromising the mission and without any dangerous stunts." he looked at Abhi with a warning. "If you idiots do anything wrong and my lifelong hard work is compromised, I will personally teach you a lesson if you survive such a situation." the veteran looked daggers at them.

Abhi and Bantu looked down and gulped in fear nodding. Later the veteran was mostly spending time with Sid, teaching him and instructing him various things. Abhi and Bantu were chucked out with the herds for the daily routine.

"One day bachi! One day of peace! Is that too much to ask for!" Bantu sat with a thump scaring the sheep away. Abhi rolled his eyes, as it was time to hear the rant again. "First the hard village life! Then the patrolling! The unnaturally early mornings! The farming! The sheep! The goats! That grumpy old man! Then your leopard! And now this?! Training in a terrorist camp?" Bantu exclaimed. "Why God why?!"

Abhi smiled at his overacting. The rant went on and on. While he was already thinking about things to do to get out of the camp, after all him and Bantu were really good at annoying people since childhood. This new assignment shouldn't be so hard.
