As Gojo and [Y/N] stepped out of the hotel, the energy in the air shifted instantly. The gathered crowd, composed of a mixture of paparazzi and fans, erupted in a wave of screams and camera flashes. The chaos was overwhelming, and for a split second, [Y/N] felt like the ground might swallow her whole.

Gojo’s hand tightened around hers, a silent reassurance that he was there beside her. He flashed his trademark grin, effortlessly exuding confidence as he waved at the crowd. “Just smile and wave,” he whispered, leaning close enough that she could feel his breath against her ear. The intimacy of the moment sent a shiver down her spine, and she forced a smile onto her face.

But not everyone in the crowd was there for support. A group of particularly dedicated fans, sporting matching shirts with Gojo’s face plastered across them, pushed forward, their shrill voices cutting through the din. “Satoru!” one of them screamed, clutching a sign that read Stay single for us, Gojo! “Is she really your girlfriend? Tell us it’s not true!”

Another fan, holding a phone in front of her like a weapon, was live-streaming the whole scene. “Gojo, blink twice if you’re being held against your will!” she shouted, half-joking but fully serious.

Gojo chuckled, clearly unfazed by the intensity of his fans. He threw an arm around [Y/N], pulling her closer and flashing the crowd a cheeky wink. “Sorry, no blinking here,” he joked, earning a mixture of squeals and groans.

[Y/N] tried not to laugh, though the whole situation felt surreal. But just as she was starting to relax, a fan managed to break past the security barrier, sprinting toward them with wide, desperate eyes. The security team reacted quickly, intercepting the fan before they could reach Gojo and [Y/N], but the close call left a lingering tension in the air.

Nakahara, who had been observing from the sidelines, rushed over, looking as frazzled as ever. “Alright, that’s enough of a public appearance for today,” he declared, practically herding them back toward the hotel entrance. “Before this turns into a full-blown stampede.”

Gojo squeezed [Y/N]’s hand one more time before letting go. “Well, that was exciting,” he said, his voice light but his eyes scanning her face for any sign of distress. “You okay?”

[Y/N] took a deep breath, nodding. “Yeah, just... not what I expected. Your fans are really something.”

Gojo shrugged, a sheepish smile playing at his lips. “They mean well, mostly. But hey, if you want, I’ll put on a little more security detail.”

She couldn’t help but smile back. “Thanks, but I think I can handle it. As long as you’re around, anyway.”

Gojo’s grin widened, and for a moment, the chaos of the outside world seemed to melt away.
