——-*•.

It was a cold early sunny morning at Solace college. The wind was colder than usual outside and it seeped through the walls of the school, although not unusual for the time that was now but unusual enough for the summer time.

As any day in any school the building was filled with a bunch of sulking teenagers well...except for someone that radiated off such a depressive energy that it might as well just outweighed everybody in school  CV combined.

The halls were littered with kids and their loud chatter. However, not a soul was in the cafeteria except for the two popular kids that everybody feared and hated. Sure, some admired them but those were mostly bullies or the students who thought they could 'fix them with love' or whatever. It was really odd...and weird.

"Did you hear 'bout the new student?" Sapnap basically shoved himself in Dream's tired face. The chair screeched as it was forcefully dragged across the school's white marble floor. He was half sitting on the chair almost slipping off of it from how far away he was pushing his body away from it just so he could annoy Dream

"Eh-? You're blocking my phone-" The dirty blond slightly glanced up at Sapnap the slight eye bags prominent under his eyes "Yeah well this is more important-" Sapnap grabbed Dream's phone somehow being filled with more energy than usual at this ungodly hour. Dream had no idea what this dude took but Gosh give him some too. He's going to die in this wretched disgusting building filled with sweaty teens.

"Hey-!" Dream shot upright in his chair ,tiredness falling away from his mind although it weighed heavy on his bones and muscles. Almost  falling over he reached out to grab his phone back from Sapnap who was conveniently a few feet farther away from Dream looking retarded for someone at nearly 7 in the morning holding a phone in the air with the excitement of a thousand high squirrels.

"-then sendin' snaps to—-Fundy-?" Sapnap raised up an eyebrow "Sapnap." Dream hissed in a warning tone as he rolled his eyes. It was too early in the day for it to start and too early to deal with Sapnap's shit right now "Oooooh are those lovey dovey messages I see~?" Sapnap was leaning back while holding the phone up in the air as Dream had gotten off his chair and was now fighting for his phone.

They stumbled like that for a while dancing around each other like some pair of very bad ballerinas when eventually Dream had enough and knocked the air out of Sapnap's lungs, the friendly fight turning into one of their usual fights that they did.

"Oh please, you very well know that I'm just pulling the leg of that naive ginger." Dream scoffed, clearly not giving two shits about the ginger in question feelings. Dream slapped Sapnap's hand before hitting his shoulder right after he knocked the air out of the blacknette's lungs.

Sometimes the fights were to decide who was right in an argument and who was wrong and other times it was out of sheer boredom. The duo almost always got out of trouble and most times they were never caught in fights by the teachers at all even when there were always such huge crowds of teens around them.

Sapnap stumbled after the hit to his side, catching his breath he regained his composure quite quickly. The blacknette kicked his foot out hitting dream in his shin almost hitting his bone instead. The two despite the fight were grinning.

Sapnap and Dream are known throughout the whole school as the troublemaker kids, the hooligans, the bad news, bullies, jerks, you name it! They had many titles which they've been called.

They constantly skipped classes, talked back, bullied some peeps and got high off their rockers on some days. None of those things somehow got them in trouble ever. Some speculate that it might be because of their parent's status or because the school gets bribed or something akin to that.
