Cynosure /ˈsīnəˌSHo͝or/ noun a person or thing that is the center of attention or admiration.

Seishu tried desperately to approach her whenever he saw her in the halls, but she would always ignore him or give him a cold shoulder. His friend Kokonoi watched him, shaking his head in disbelief at his friend's desperation.

Despite her cold attitude, Seishu was still thinking about the ruined painting, determined to find a way to make it right.

But no matter how hard he tried, she remained cold and unresponsive to his presence.

The image of her anger and disappointment after he ruined her painting haunted him, and he knew he had to find a way to make it right.

He just wished she would give him a chance to apologize, to fix things between them.

Seishu had made his way to the empty classroom, deciding to cut classes again like he often did. This time, however, he had a specific goal in mind.

As he grabbed a blank canvas and set out to redo the ruined painting, he found that his painting skills were not the best. But his determination to see her smile again gave him the motivation to keep going, despite the challenging task.

With gentle strokes, he painted her hair, trying to capture the same beauty that had been in the original painting.

Y/N entered the classroom and was surprised to see Seishu sleeping near the window. He must have dozed off, probably exhausted from his earlier painting efforts.

She approached him, noticing the new canvas next to him, the unfinished painting clearly his attempt at a recreation of the ruined one.

"I love it...", Y/N murmured to herself.

As she lifted the canvas away from the sleeping boy, she couldn't help but feel a pang of admiration for his attempt at recreating the painting.

Carefully placing it on the easel, she continued working on the painting, adding her own touches to the unfinished work.

Y/N painted quietly, trying not to wake Seishu up as he slept nearby.

As she added brushstrokes and details to the canvas, she found herself appreciating his effort to remake the painting, even though his skills weren't the best.

Since the day when Seishu had accidentally ruined her painting and she had finished the recreation, she had decided that she wouldn't go to the empty classroom anymore. The memory of that encounter weighed heavily on her mind, and the thought of seeing him there again made her hesitate.

She had finished the painting, a testament to her skill and resilience, but at the same time, it felt like leaving a piece of herself behind in the empty room.

She couldn't bring herself to step foot in the room, knowing that the presence of the boy who had caused her so much frustration and the memory of that unfinished conversation would linger there. So, she decided to stay away, focusing her time and energy on her art in other spaces.

The empty classroom became a distant memory, a place she no longer wished to revisit.

Seishu, feeling disappointed and hopeful, continued to visit the empty classroom religiously, in case she decided to paint there again. Despite the fact that she hadn't been there in a while, he didn't give up the possibility of running into her in the space they had shared.

His heart longed to see her again, to have the chance to apologize and make things right.

Seishu and Kokonoi were on their way to the convenience store, walking side by side and having a casual conversation.

As they rounded a corner, they saw a familiar figure in the distance — Y/N, walking with a tall, bespectacled boy who was known to them as Kisaki Tetta.

Seishu's heart clenched at the sight, a pang of jealousy and disappointment washing over him as he saw her walking with another boy. He tried to hide his feelings, keeping his expression neutral, but his friend Kokonoi could sense the change in his demeanor.

Y/N was visibly different when talking to Kisaki. She was laughing, engaged in the conversation, and looked genuinely happy.

This contrast was stark compared to her usual cold and reserved demeanor when she interacted with Seishu

As Y/N and Kisaki walked together, engaged in conversation, Seishu and Kokonoi observed from a distance. Y/N's attention was solely on Kisaki, her eyes never once wavering from him. It was evident that she held him in high regard and felt a strong connection with him.

The two boys couldn't hear their conversation, but it was easy to tell from her body language that she was comfortable and at ease in his presence.

"Let's go!"

Kokonoi tugged gently on Seishu's arm, sensing that his friend was getting increasingly envious and frustrated watching Y/N and Kisaki.

"W-Wait!"

Deciding it was best to distract him, Kokonoi urged him towards the convenience store, pulling him away from the sight of the girl and the boy.
