𝟑𝟗. 𝐈𝐜𝐞-𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦

Around 8 p.m. at night, Aditya arrived at the house from his office. The elders had gone out to visit their relatives, leaving Rajveer & Aarohi at home. Aarohi was still recovering; that's why she stayed at home while Rajveer was given the incharge to take care of his bhabhi, aka bestie.

As soon as Aditya entered the house, a pillow landed straight on his face. He was too stunned to utter a word or reaction on what happened with him.

"Bh... Bhai, it's her; she was bothering me, and she even...hit you." Rajveer said while holding his laughter. On the other hand, Aarohi stood behind Rajveer as she realised she missed her target and hit someone scary.

"I'm doomed again! Now prepare your ears for a long lecture, Aarohi." She said to herself in her mind while avoiding eye contact with Aditya.

"Are you both 5 year old kids who are creating mess while fighting with each other in the absence of elders?" Aditya said while the two of them glared at each other.

"It's him! He was annoying me continuously; I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hit you." Aarohi said apologetically while eyeing Rajveer.

"Alright, now stop with your blame game and both of you return back to your respective rooms." Aditya ordered them. "Ok, bye guys, continue with your rom... Discussion." Rajveer said and ran away from them before Aarohi could almost kill him.

Aarohi turned to look back towards Aditya, who was already looking at her with no expression. "Th..thank you for trusting me and..." Aarohi said with a little hesitation.

"And ?" He asked her while she looked down in nervousness, breaking their intense eye contact while standing at a little distance from each other. "I'm sorry again; I didn't mean to hit you. You weren't my target." She said while smiling nervously.

Aditya chuckled at her cuteness and soon changed his expression back to a cold face. After a small pause, he replied to her. "If I wasn't your target, then let's go out together."

"Alright... Wait... What???" Aarohi got shocked by his words. "Now ?" She asked him again while he was keenly observing her expressions, which changed in seconds.

"Yes, we're going out now, so quickly get ready. I'm waiting for you." He said while hiding his teasing smile behind his cold expression.

"What about Veer?" She asked him curiously, unintentionally ruining his happy mood, but he managed to hide his expressions beneath his poker face. "He's busy in his own world, and we're a couple, so he might feel left out between us; now no more questions and hurry up." He insisted she get ready.

"Okay." Aarohi said and went to her room to get changed, not before looking at Aditya in confusion. "What's wrong with him? Why does he want to go out with me? WITH ME? His biggest enemy." She thought in her mind.
