(Y/n’s third person Pov.)

A small burbling sound reached her ears. A slimy thing touched her forehead and surrounded her. The touch made her feel warm and happy for once. It reminded her of a loving sibling’s touch…

(Y/n’s Pov.)

I opened my eyes to see orange slime completely surrounding me. Wait, how was I still breathing? Wait a second… SCP 999?! Brother?! SCP 999 seemed to notice that I was awake and handed me a small vial of itself while chirping happily. I smiled and gave him a hug.

“Thank you, brother.” I whispered and, then, I opened my eyes for real…

*In real life.*

I heard snaps and cracks as my head regenerated back. Then, I stood up. A small thing fell off my chest and onto the ground. I picked it up. It was the SCP 999 vial that he gave me. ‘Aw, brother…!’ I smiled and went to find the two demonesses, again. Yet, for some reason, I felt pure joy while looking for them. I cheerfully whispered into the shadows, again,

“Where did the demonesses go~? Can you, please, tell me~?” The shadows whispered back; ‘Next alley over… to your right…’

“Thank you~!” I chirped back, then followed their instructions. I never knew I was being watched the entire time…

(???’s Pov.)

I froze watching the girl’s head get kicked off. ‘She’s… dead?! With her aura, surely, she should have won!’ I thought to myself, in shock, seeing her head get kicked off like that. Then, the demonesses walked away and I felt a disire to go over to her, but before I could, I realized something odd. ‘She’s still breathing… and steadily!’ Her aura seemed to be the same strength as it was when she was alive, perhaps a little… stronger… Then, a small shadow seemed to cover her and as quickly as it appeared it disappeared, leaving behind a small vial of something orange inside on her chest. I blinked for a moment. ‘Did I see that right…?’ I wondered what just happened. ‘What was that…?’ Then, slowly, I saw the impossible. This girl, who literally got her head kicked off, suddenly started to growing her head back. My eyes widened. ‘Is she a demon after all?!’ When she had finished healing, I saw her notice the orange vial that fell off of her as she stood up. She smiled and her aura felt momentarily at peace as she picked the vial up. Then, as if nothing happened, I heard her happily talk into a dark corner of the alleyway.

“Where did the demonesses go~? Can you, please, tell me~?” ‘Has she lost her mind? Oh…, wait…’ I realized the unintentional irony in that thought. Then, as if she had heard something I heard her say,

“Thank you~!” Then she ran into the next alley over and I followed her…

(???’s Pov.)

As soon as the sun fell below the horizon, I left the house and swiftly headed towards the direction of the evil aura. I just felt like I had to be there and I didn’t understand why. About halfway there, I could feel the aura darken, then after a long moment, it faded to the strength it was before. It seemed to surround itself around another aura. This one felt pure, but not human nor demon. ‘Are there two of them…?’ I wondered and momentarily paused to think about it. I decided to find the purer aura first. I just couldn’t help the weird feeling I got about this. ‘What is going on here…?

(Y/n’s Pov.)

When I got to my destination, I saw the shorter demoness knock out one of the few male children in the village. I watched as she wrapped her vine-like arms around the child. A dark smile rested on my face as I walked up behind her. The euphoria had worn off. I could feel her tense at the feel of my presence behind her.

“Whatcha got there? I believe that’s not your child, dearie~!” I told her sweetly. She whirled around and her eyes widened when they landed on me.

“Y-you…! How…?!” She stuttered to herself. They both looked at me with wide eyes and I grinned. I could feel the bloodlust rise up inside of me. Yes, I was angry, but I also felt at peace.

“You didn’t expect me to survive that one, did you sweetheart~?” I asked her, sweetly, before I added much more ominously,

“I believe, now, it’s your turn to lose yours. It’s only fair, don’t you think?” The shorter one tried to kick me, again, but I was faster.

“Foundation breathing: Third form: 173!” Within moments, her leg was diced up and she collapsed beside me. Then, I noticed something strange on the back of her neck. It looked almost like a blood red almond seed. My eyes widened, noticing the blood veins that were attached to the seed. It seemed to influence the blood in a way that it looked like it was draining the blood supply from the shorter demon. I noticed that the shorter demon had trouble regenerating herself. The seed seemed to pulse and I saw roots erupt from the seed and penetrate the demon’s body. The shorter demoness started screaming out in pain as the roots followed the path of her veins to her heart. Yet, some of the roots from the blood red seed ripped through her flesh and dove into the ground, trapping the shorter demon against the ground in an uncomfortable position. The seed itself grew into a large tree on top of her in a area where the small amount of moonlight can reach her. ‘What the freak is that…?’ I thought to myself, dumbfounded, horrified, and totally disgusted with what I was seeing. The taller demoness noticed the look on my face and a wide grin spread across her lips as she said to me,

“You’ve noticed it, haven’t you? Too bad she never did. It’s kinda pathetic really. Just feed her massive ego and she would never notice that her blood and nutrients were being sucked out of her.”
