"Do you even want to get in?" The man asks as he plops down on the bed beside a figure barely visible from underneath the blanket.
The room falls silent once again as she ignores the middle aged man's words. "So that's how we're acting today?" He raises the tone by a little bit, making the feminine figure underneath the blanket sit up while rolling her eyes.
"No. No, I don't want to get in," she finally speaks up, making the man frown at her demeanour. "Yeah! I don't need high school. I'm fine!" She adds in a tone even more aggressive before pulling the blanket over her body again.
"Oh?" The man mumbles. "Fine," he said, casually pulling out a slipper from the side of her bed and waving it around. "Or maybe this will help?"
She frowns, opening her eyes again. "Oh my god, you crazy old man!" She almost cries out as she practically jumps out of the bed, resisting the slipper from hitting her arms.
"What did you just say?" The man's voice seems to get even more serious. Ignoring his words, the girl runs to the washroom, haugh-laughing half-mortified.
After some good minutes of freshening up, she finally gets downstairs. "Good morning, baba," she grins at the man, who clearly isn't having a good morning from any angle.
"You know, back in my day, if I overslept, my father would've made me do push-ups before breakfast." The father crosses his arms as the girl in front of him takes her first bite of her breakfast.
"Back in your day, dinosaurs still roamed the Earth," she muttered under her breath while nibbling on the bread. However, all it took was a glare and "Bella fucking Yu" for her to shut up and eat in silent.
"You will be admitted to the school today, your class starts next week," Her father states as he watches her eat. "Why do I have to go for the admission?" She objects, almost agitatedly.
"Because you have to," He replies in a rather cold tone, making his annoyance at her habit of talking back clear.

It takes what feels like ages to her to fill up the admission form, submit the admission fee, an appointment w the school's tailor for her uniform.
Although, she was definitely amused by the luxurious interior and how spacious the school was. After all, maybe private schools ran by the Air Force are not desirable and really hard to get into for no reason.
She wasn't allowed inside, yet at least. So, she stood there, stood and drooled. The building's sleek glass and steel buildings blended perfectly with the lush, sculpted gardens. At the entrance, a grand iron gate, mainly where she stood since the airman guards wouldn't let her in, etched with winged emblems, opened to a winding stone drive lined with manicured hedges.
Each building shimmered in the sunlight, and it pulled her like a magnet for some reason. What reasons? She doesn't know either.
She sadly had to get distracted quickly by her father as he was done with the rather earthy stuff, or more like the stuff she should also be focusing on rather than simping over some infrastructures.
As she was finally brought back to reality, she realised she really is after all an earthy human with earthy needs. "Baba, I'm really, REALLY hungry," she cries out, but somehow in a less dramatic way.
"Do you wanna go to the cafeteria then?" He asked, surprising her with the consistency and punctuality.
"We can...?" She prolongs her amusement, tilting her head and raising her brows in surprise, to which her father replies with a nod.
"Okay, let's go!" she exclaims in a rather goofy childish manner.
As she is walking to the cafeteria, a lot of thoughts occupy her head. It definitely starts with how she was actively refusing to get into this school, after seeing the green bowtie in the uniform and how she was kind of petrified about the fact this school is managed by the air force and how everyone says they're a little too strict to be true.
And how it doesn't even matter anymore because all she cares about is how interesting the teachers, her classmates, the extracurricular part is going to be. Something about this school, even though she can't seem to pinpoint exactly what, is pulling her, the force is way stronger than gravity, way way stronger. Something inside her tells her, her high school life is about to be her most memorable days.
Wait. Is she hearing voices? "Bella?" She finally recognises the voice. "O-oh, oh, yes baba?" She manages to finish the sentence, after stumbling upon it twice of course.
“What do you want?” He asks, probably for the fiftieth fucking time. Now, she wouldn’t know, obviously. “A sandwitch is enough,” She scrunches her brows as she shrugs the question off.
Her dad heads off to the counter after mouthing a silent sure. She waits by the windows watching the playground she wasn’t allowed to step into. Her dad soon brings her a packet, packet of a egg sandwich to be exact.
“Thank you, baba,” she grins at her father, feeling sheerly excited, and to remind the readers, hungry.
“Eat up quickly, I'll be back in a minute.” Her father leaves with a small tap on her shoulder. She nods in reply, opening up her sandwich and taking the first bite.
Her eye widens as the bread melts into her mouth. Why is it so soft and delicious? She asks herself, getting lost in the food, so much so she doesn’t even notice her father walking away.
She starts to get used to the taste by the 5th bite of the full sized sandwich. That's when her brain reminds her to stare at the playground and the students walking around for no reason at all, and maybe enjoy the pine trees and the flowers she has never seen before.
She decides to look up, finally look up. At first it felt like a daydream, but then her vision started clearing up, eyes widening up. Its like everything had stopped, her body, mind, soul.
She froze, sandwich forgotten mid-air, heart pounding so loud, her doctor would've had a heart attack if he heard it. She’s seen a million faces walk through by this point of life, but why were there pink stars and hearts all around his?
