~My Heart Died A Long Time Ago~

I walked into an empty compartment on the train. I grunted softly as I lifted my duffel bag to the bag compartment above the seats. I dusted off my uniform and plopped myself down on the material seats.

I sighed softly and looked out the window. Last week mother found me passed out in the bathroom. She took me to Saint Mungos as soon as she found me.

I am so lucky father went to one of his meetings after supper that night. Sadly they told mother I had overdosed and sent father a letter.

When I got discharged from Saint Mungos, being at home felt like hell. Father decided to 'discipline' me for doing such a dishonorable deed and cast the Cruciatus Curse on me.

This was often the punishment for disobeying or embarrassing father.

I snapped out of my thoughts when the compartment door slid open. I looked up and my eyes met two boys in the doorway. Both harbored good looks and dark curly hair.

"Good afternoon-" "Get out." The boy on the left spoke coldly. I looked between the two and sighed. I got up and grabbed my bag from the storage compartment. I stared at my feet as I left the compartment to find a new one.

Well they were certainly rude and unfamiliar. I know almost every face at Hogwarts and they certainly do not seem like first years. I should probably stop dwelling on those two and find myself a compartment.

It feels like forever since I was last at Hogwarts. I sat on my bed and looked around my private dorm. It's so quiet and it had this mysterious atmosphere about it. It felt like home, not like back at the Manor.

It felt like what a home is supposed to be like. I hummed and threw myself back onto the bed. The soft mattress, I felt myself sink into the comfort of the bed. I sat up and ran my hands up and down the covers. I stood up and walked over to the mirror that hung above my dresser.

My nose started bleeding again. I sighed and held my hand over my nose and left my dorm entering the long dim hallways of the Slytherin common room. I walked towards the girls bathroom. Along my stroll I noticed Blaise appear from around the corner.

My eyes widened and I quickly turned around. "Amelia?" He called out. Merlin I hate my blonde hair. "Oh uhm, hey Blaise." I responded, still facing away from him. "So what're you-" "Turn around." He commanded. I huffed and turned around slowly.

Blaise looked at my hand covering my nose then up to my eyes. "Move your hand." "Blaise-" "I'm not going to ask again." He said sternly. I huffed again and slowly let my hands fall to my sides. "Happy?"

He clenched his jaw and stared at me. "Did Cho do that to you?" "No, she didn't, I-" "Don't lie to me, Amelia." I stared at him silently and faced away from him. "Why do you care at all what happens between Cho and I? Didn't you sleep with her during our relationship?" "Amelia-" "After she drugged me and I woke up in a room with a stranger."

He stopped and stared at me silently, clenching his hand into a fist. "Don't get upset now. You didn't care when I tried to tell you."

I shoved past him, and walked off. That's my ex-boyfriend, Blaise Zabini. I'd explain to you what happened between us but it seems I already did.
