My dad's wife was welcoming us with a warm smile. "You must be Jennie" I smiled "it's very nice to meet you, Ms" I was confused on what to call her. Mom? Step mom? Aunty? Ma'am? The only thing I can remember right now is the scene from Cinderella where the step mom and her 2 daughters laughing at Cinderella. That movie gave me trauma for years.
My dad's wife looked at me and chuckled as I called her Ms "have you eaten sweetheart? I've made Jjmidak" "no thank you I've already eaten" She's really sweet. Too sweet.
"Jennie, go to your room and unpack" my dad said coldly" "Honey, she just came." My step mom looked at him telling to be a bit more nice "here, how about I take you to your room" she took the bag from my hand and told me to follow her.

The room was actually nice, it looked cozy and comfortable. "I know it's a bit messy, this is just a guest room we don't have another bedroom" she said in a apologetic voice "no its manageable, it's only for 2 days, thank you." I said with a gentle smile "Well sweetie if you need anything, call me Ok?" I nodded As soon as she left the room I jumped on the bed to lay down and closed my eyes, this is going to be interesting.
I finally remembered that I have another mom that I need to call. I took my phone from my pocket and called her. "Hey Mom" "Hi Jen, how was the night?" "Wasn't bad. Where are you?" "Honey I'm at work" "Mom I wanna explore deagu, can you come tomorrow?" "Sorry Jen, tomorrow is the meeting, I'll see what I can do" "Ok mom don't forget to-" "Jen I've got to go" *hangs up*
"take your medicine" she hanged up. Oh well.
I kept my phone on the bed side table and went to change into something more comfortable.
